Atlas Castle Marrakech

Incredible location! Delicious and plentiful breakfast

WOW! I booked Atlas Castle for my Mum’s birthday after surprising her with a trip to Marrakech, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our holiday. We will 100% be coming back and next time we're bringing friends because this place is SPECTACULAR! The views are breathtaking, the rooms are beautifully designed (I had the bests night sleep), and the pool was spotless / the perfect temperature. I genuinely can't recommend this place highly enough. Getting into the Medina was easy too. The taxi was inexpensive and surprisingly quick. The staff were exceptional, especially Issmail, who was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he even showed us a hidden spot where we could watch the sunset, it was magical. The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed dinner outside overlooking the mountains as the sun set, and breakfast was generous with an excellent variety of fresh options. I've travelled to quite a few places over the years, and Atlas Castle is genuinely one of the best places I've ever stayed. I honestly didn't want to leave. I can't wait to come back! I’ve just arrived home and already looking at flights.

Beautiful hotel, quiet, private and peaceful. Perfect if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The hospitality was outstanding.

Initially, it’s difficult to locate, but once you’re here it’s a hidden gem!

Das Hotel war ein zwispältiges Erlebnis und ich fürchte, die vielen positiven Bewertungen übertreiben etwas. Was war also gut?: + Sehr freundliches, bemühtes und hilfsbereites Personal + super Frühstück + super Abendessen (bei Bedarf, ich würde aber vorbestellen, sonst dauert es etwas lange) + schöne Gesamtanlage mit Pool, Garten und tollem Blick auf den Atlas + man ist verhältnismäßig schnell in Marrakesch im Ourika-Tal und einige andere Attraktionen (Safranparadies, Anima Gärten) sind auch in der Nähe

Leider waren wir mit einigen Dingen nicht so zufrieden: - das Zimmer war teils bitterkalt (Reisezeit Dezember/Januar), die Heizung funktionierte nicht (haben mehrfach darauf hingewiesen). Im Sommer mag es okay sein. - es gab kein Warmwasser (nur am ersten Tag!), das eiskalte Wasser machte duschen quasi unmöglich (wir sind bei einem längeren Trip ins Land dann in ein anderes Hotel geflüchtet, um mal zu duschen). Auch hier scheinen die Reparaturversuche erfolglos geblieben zu sein. - das Zimmer war zwar schön traditionell eingerichtet, aber wenig komfortabel (etwas in die Jahre gekommen) - die Sauberkeit: Staubfäden in den Ecken etc. Am schlimmsten: dreckige Laken am ersten Abend, offenbar nicht ausgetauscht (!), erst am zweiten Tag schien das behoben worden zu sein. Auch die Zusatzdecken (es war ja so kalt) waren sehr fleckig. Das trifft auch auf die Tischdecken im Speisesaal zu
