    Would 100% recommend this hotel, with lots of activities, 5 pools, entertainment it’s great. Food is decent, lots of freshly prepared meals. The rooms are nice, be prepared to stand in front of an audience and have them sing happy birthday if you go away for a birthday! All in all a great trip.

    Myself and a couple others checked in on the 18th of July. Some of us had a booking for 4 nights and others for 5 nights. Whilst the staff on the day of our check in did their best to ensure we had a smooth check in experience, on Day 2, we realised that there was no running water for close to 4 hours. I managed to go speak to someone at the reception, and he was rude. No one answers the call from the room, you will have to physically come downstairs to the reception if you have any requests or queries. Even after telling them that there was no running water, no apologies or empathy was shown towards that. I had to complain severally regarding bedsheets not been changed on the 3rd day, no towels in the room after housekeeping service, the list is endless. Despite the very hot weather on one occasion, I had gone to the bar area to get a cold drink to cool off, however, the bartender put water instead of ice in the cup and when I complained and told him off, all he did was laugh and started speaking in Arabic. When I complained to the manager, all they said was there is no ice cube. I would rather be told that instead of putting water in a mocktail. Very rude and uncouth staff, I only had a good experience with a gentle lad in the restaurant (Toughair), not suer I got his name right now. He was amazing and made sure our restaurant experience was great anytime he was on shift. They need to employ more kind hearted people like that, all he did was his job and had a beautiful smile on always. Overall, a very terrible experience. I had days I couldn't shower or have a good clean due to no running water, and I would be making a complaint towards this.

    We wanted a nice relaxing break in the sun for my partner's birthday, and that's what we got. It's by no means 5* but it doesn't claim to be. However, it is clean, the lobby is nice, the main pool is nice, the gardens are looked after, the room was fine (if a little tired). The staff were nice and the food was ok...breakfast was probably the best meal. It might get a bit repetitive if you were staying there for 5 days + but there was enough variation and it was tasty enough. Had a nice time...would I go back? Probably not, but that doesn't mean it's not a nice place
