    Upon arrival, we were treated like royals, but things changed a bit after the first day. For the amount we paid for the Ryad, we expected a few small extras, such as daily snacks and evening room preparation. In most five-star hotels, small snacks are provided daily, and the room is prepared for the night each evening, not just on the first day of arrival. The water in the showers was brown at times, and it was difficult to balance the hot and cold water, which made the showers extremely hot. We enjoyed the overall atmosphere and facilities, although there wasn't much for teens to do. The staff were lovely and super kind, but the language barrier made it a bit difficult to communicate some of our requests. Breakfast in the room was lovely. The rooms, as well as the entire hotel, were clean and well-maintained. The location was excellent, with everything within easy walking distance. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but for the price, we felt we received only the basics, which was a little disappointing. It's important to say that when we shared our frustration with the hotel manager, she decided to compensate us, which was much appreciated and unexpected, and we were super grateful to her!

    It's not easy to find a good hotel, and if you do, you'll want to find one that offers the staff the dedication to providing customer service. We found it here, with details like everything else, but it's a 9 out of 10.

    Room was clean and spacious. The location of the hotel couldn’t have been any better and was nice and quiet to relax by the pool whilst in walking distance of the main attractions. However, service and staff were not as expected for a ‘five’ star hotel. The majority of the staff could not understand basic english and would only speak french which made communication very difficult. We had various issues with bath towels and water missing in the room, and items not available at breakfast. It took various attempts to solve the issues and in the end we just gave up as staff would disappear without a resolution.
