Excellent comfortable well appointed rooms
Shame they don’t do breakfast but there are three cafes within 2 mins walk that open for breakfast Saturday and Sunday

The bed was comfortable
Good size Good tea cofffe and thoughtful with oat milk in fridge
Bedding lovely nice big towels
Lights above bed on all night for the 1st night.
Noisy road bed shakes when Lorrie’s go by .
Bedroom needs a change around to make more sense. Bed in wrong place under window , people can see you from double decker buses 🤣🤣No bin in room so had to use bathroom bin .
Timings in and out of property but then we were told this before we arrived . Just a quick one never saw your builders doing any work on their phones and sunbathing 🙄not going to get finished very quickly is it .

Nice large room which was surprisingly quiet. Friendly staff. Good communication about some building work (no impact on our stay).

The pub and the room looked stunning. Opulent even. A lovely high bed with comfortable covers, armchairs, and a fabulous big hot shower.
The bed was so hard, it was like sleeping on a concrete slab. It sloped to one side so that if I was close to the edge I rolled off. The curtains didn't close, so there was light from the pub sign on all night. It was incredibly noisy. I expected it until the pub shut, but the traffic all down the road all night prevented me from sleeping. It was almost as though a window was open. It wasn't, I checked! On top of that, they don't serve breakfast. For £126 for my one night stay, I expected better.
