It was good to be in level floor property no stairs. It was cosy and very satisfactory.

Location, views from the back of the house, a cosy property. Ease of parking; the property was compact, but still roomy; generally well appointed and kitchen equipment was more than adequate; outside areas were pleasant and spacious; availability of the owners and they were very approachable.
Generally a very clean property, but a few areas eg. in the bathroom, which had been overlooked (but the property is on a farm !) There was no welcome 'pack', as we have experienced in many other airbnb's, and lack of provision of 'staples', on our arrival eg. tea bags, coffee - was disappointing.

Comfortable and peaceful dwelling in a super location. A great jumping off point for seeing the rest of Exmoor and North Devon. There are some lovely walks. The village is a 10 minute stroll away and has a grocers, tea room and pub. Penny and Julian were on hand if necessary but unobtrusive. A very clean place with everything we needed.
We prefer harder mattresses, but that is a personal preference.
