We had a really lovely stay at this cosy little cottage in Exmoor. It was clean, comfortable and warm — perfect for two people. The cottage felt private and peaceful, with its own garden and beautiful moorland surroundings.
The nearby village has a handy grocery shop which made things easy. The owners were very thoughtful and left us some nice welcome bits like butter, bread, wine, milk, eggs, tea and biscuits, which was a really kind touch.
A great spot for a quiet, relaxing break — we’d happily stay again.

Location perfect and very quiet and peaceful
Very quiet and fantasitic walks right from door
Great pub and food at Royal Oak in Withypool
Hosts were lovely and helpful re providing logs etc
Good WiFi
Bed uncomfortable and sofa was not great either
Needs a bit of updating as work tops etc a bit worn
Shower very small and large person would struggle to use it
