Villa Monte

Super mooi huis met een prachtige tuin. Mooi gelegen en veel privacy. De eigenaar is goed bereikbaar als er wat is. Alles is goed schoon en aanwezig zoals beschreven op Booking. Wat wij echt top vonden is de koffiebonen machine. Heerlijke koffie. Wij komen zeker nog is terug.

De matrassen van de bedden waren erg dun. Lag niet heel comfortabel

Beautiful villa with lovely furniture. Great floor plan. Could have moved into this house. Lots of kitchen utensils and crockery. It was lovely to see the baskets fly down the hill on the street outside the villa. Adored the garden with its birds of paradise. Lovely setting. Unfortunately it rained a lot in our week and we didn't get to spend as much time outside as we would have liked.

Could have provided a welcome pack for the fridge. It would have been a nice touch, particularly as there was no supermarket for miles. Location was difficult as the villa is very high up so we spent quite a bit of money on Ubers. Just could not walk those steep streets.

Casa molto bella e ben tenuta, ben attrezzata sia per la cucina (mancherebbe lo scolapasta 😅), che per i bagni. Mancano dei lettini fuori per rilassarsi e prendere il sole, ma c’è il tavolo e le sedie per mangiare in giardino, probabilmente un ombrellone sarebbe comodo. Comodo i letti, molto funzionale l’aria condizionata, comodissima la doccia.

Il parcheggio in casa è difficilissimo, già la casa stessa si trova nella via più ripida di Madeira, per uscire dal parcheggio in casa ci sono due salite e quella di uscita dal cancello interseca a 90 gradi la strada principale in discesa ripidissima. La manovra di uscita è già complessa di per sé, poi su quella strada scendono velocissimi i carretti caratteristici di Funchal, con a bordo le persone e i ragazzi che li conducono. Alla fine abbiamo optato per parcheggiare direttamente sulla strada principale.
