Super clean, comfortable and very good location.

May be not suitable for elderly or disabled people as it is quite steep walk from road to property. But no problem at all for young adults, families or kids.

Very clean and you had all you needed included. Very nice view from the balcony. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. The staff was nice and the property is a real gem.

The location was very hard to reach. There are some buses driving by I think but otherwise you have 2 choices: taking an Uber or walking 30 min from the city centre till the apartment on a very very steep road = you sweat a lot. The pool looked absolutely amazing and we were told that it wouldn’t be accessible after 9 pm but somehow there were still people going to the pool after that time and making some noice. It was also quite expensive, coming from a Swiss.

Beautiful accommodation with everything you could need. The view is amazing and a very nice pool area for a relax. Very well organised check in and parking available if required.

It is a long walk into Funchal and too steep to walk back . But there is a great bus service straight outside the property.

Even though the locations is about a 25min walk, the view was lovely. Our stay was super clean and the pool/lounge area was very nice.

Because their communication/area description is non existent, I’ll give you all the info. Put Atlântico Azul in GPS (not address). You’ll find a locked door beside a garage door) which they’ll give you the code for-hopefully not an hour late like they did with me) Make sure to book a spot for your vehicle (if you have one, otherwise you’ll have to park out front and it’s a dangerous street-super narrow) House keeping was still cleaning our room almost an hour and a half after our reservations so it seems they don’t value their clients time/schedule either. This is such a beautiful place with a gorgeous view. It’s too bad their communication/directions were so brutal otherwise I would give them a higher rating.
