We had a lovely , quiet, relaxing visit. We were greeted with more than our delicious cheese plate but the bbq was brought around for us to help us cook our dinner. Our host was kind enough to help us sort out our movie viewing, that night, when we were stuck. And a special thank you also for joining the 2 single beds together for us. Very grateful.

Just a couple of things. I suppose the lovely thought of walking to the beach (as it is advertised as 300 metres away but that’s as the crow flies). You definitely need a car to get to the beach. If you have allergies , it might be important to mention that before you arrive as there is a dog, lovely , but may not suit everyone. And your accommodation is attached to the main house , not separate at all, so some people may like to know that . Otherwise a lovely place really.

Great modern 2 bed studio type unit. Fabulous views from main bedroom and deck area. Hosts very friendly and left lovely cheese fruit welcome platter.. much appreciated as were the fresh flowers! Crisp cotton sheets added to the luxe vibe. Close to Tutukaka.

If you want a peaceful stay that’s close to great hiking, True North Tutukaka is the perfect place.

The location was in a quiet location with a beautiful view of the water. The bedrooms are comfortable and the shower is better than the one we have at home. The host were great. They helped us with an issue we had with our car rental company!❤️

We can’t find anything that we didn’t like. 🤷‍♂️

Modern accomodation with beautiful views and great facilities

A lovely cheeseboard with fruit, chocolates and cookies greeted us as well as milk, tea, coffee facilities. Great to have a little fridge freezer and toaster, microwave... beautiful decor. Beds were comfortable and an amazing shower with lovely toiletries. Bathroom was nice and big. Beautiful views and close to excellent beaches and main town centre. Friendly greeting and very helpful. Also great to be able to park your car. I would definitely stay here again. Loved the aircon too and deck to sit out on with beautiful gardens and sea views.

Instructions for the TV. We had trouble with it although when asked, it was rectified very quickly with a smile. Very much appreciated, thank you.

Delightful - look no further.

Extremely comfortable, great views, and amazing host! Rebecca waited for us with “snacks” - a delicious cheese platter which ended up being our dinner! And breakfast was top notch as well! We could have definitely stayed longer and look forward to coming back one day.

The welcome snack was excellent- hummus (2 different types) crackers, cheese (2) and grapes Fresh flowers in the kitchen The host Rebecca greeted us and knew our names and had sent an email with directions and her mobile if we needed further assistance

view was amazing ,welcome cheese board and extras like chocolates biscuits etc. everything was of a high standard and our hosts had thought of everything.

we felt that it needed a blind to pull down for privacy in the kitchenette dinning area.

We booked quickly and did not realise the accommodation was so far from Whangarei. The address given on Booking.com was Whangarei. So we had a longer drive than anticipated.
