So good we stayed there twice!

Exceptional and brilliant value for money

We are familiar with the location, being former Whangarei residents. Distance from town is immaterial especially as our business was in the Kamo area. Comparison with 3 other locations we have stayed in previously, Lupton was exceptional

Located just out of Whangarei city a lovely BnB tucked away off the main road. Had a home cooked breakfast by the host which was a neat start to the day.

The host was great, he cooked great food for dinner and breakfast. Big spacious room. Comfy bed.

No air con, needed a fan or something. Also the shower only gad shampoo and no body wash.

This was a comfortable stay located near many sites to take in.

It is conveniently located and has an interesting history. The neighbor has horses which was a pleasant surprise. Bathroom is large with good water pressure. The AC was appreciated.

I would recommend it to others

A very good breakfast with cereal, fruit and yoghurt then eggs and bacon on a muffin. It was my choice to stay out of Whangarei, and it was a very pretty country area with old stone walls and lush pastures.

I booked on behalf of our plumbers who were travelling for work up North. I received very great feedback about the stay. The location was perfect; the value was absolutely worth it with the breakfast included. We will definitely be staying again when we travel for work again!

A lovely setting in farmland only 10mins from the Whangarei Basin. The accommodation had historic charm. Warm, clean and comfortable. The host Andy was very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast menu was impressive and delicious.

A little Hideaway😊

We had a lovely nights stay at Lupton Lodge! Gorgeous setting of the villa in surrounding trees. A little hidden haven! It was a very comfortable place in which we had a really peaceful & good night's rest! Enjoyed our breakfast. Thank you!!Would definitely stop by again!😊

A countryside retreat - but just off the main road.

Lovely property located out of Whangarei and en route to Tutukaka. Rural and set back from the main road. Our room was large but cosy and warm with good facilities. Had a wonderful overnight winter’s stay. Lovely bathroom, good cooking facilities. A great stay in any season. Andy was a welcoming and friendly host. He served a delicious breakfast.

If you needed a place for a short visit, highly recommend.

Boutique, out of town. Cosy warm & it was just what we needed for an overnight stay. We booked the 2 bedroom barn apartment. Fantastic layout my sister in-law from Sydney had the top floor to herself. Hubby & I had the 2nd apartment downstairs. Beautiful gourmet breakfast included in the cost.

The Best in Whangarei!

Room was spacious and clean, plenty of parking. Andy was very friendly and great comms. He is also a fantastic host, made me feel very welcome on arrival, helped with my bags, the breakfast was amazing! Thanks Andy, top service and you just do it naturally like it's its the norm, but I tell you it's not and its a first for me being treated so well. That's the point of difference, very professional. Beautiful peaceful place to stay. A+++ Thank you Andy 😊

Cooked breakfast was amazing and that too at very short notice. Andy took good care of the breakfast and even packed one for us. Fabulous !

worst reception. this was the only problem I had with the stay. there is wifi but the signal is poor and kept dropping in and out. also can’t make phone calls from the room as no reception. not ideal for a work trip, but perfect for a get away 💕

The breakfast included in the package was really very, very good as was the evening meal that we elected to take. The meals were generous, prepared to a high standard and there was very kind consideration for one of our group who had coeliac dietary needs. The option for purchase of drinks in house was also well received at friendly prices.

Cozy and clean, big room with everything you need

It was a big spacious Room, nice Bed, Kitchen area and big bathroom. Everything was clean. There was a fridge and an outdoor dining area with a grill. It was very clean and everything was perfectly prepared (we booked 1 hour before we arrived and it was already late afternoon) - we got recommodations for vegetarian food nearby, the breakfast was absolutely fine and suitable for vegetarians (they even changed a few things for my husband with allergies); The Host was super sweet and very friendly
