Love in Blue - La Terrazza di Positano

The apartment was over the top wonderful. Our group was a family of 7 and the layout was great for us. One of our favorite features was the full rooftop with views of Positano and the harbor. As an added bonus, we were lucky to have a full moon come up over the harbor for two of our nights. It was incredible. The location was great. We were within walking distance of Positano, a small local grocery store, a wine store, an ice cream shop with fresh pastries, and several yummy restaurants. The apartment is located on the bus route that comes up out of Positano. Most of us were able to handle the multiple steep stairways that came up from town, but a bus was available for those who were too tired to climb after a busy day. The bathroom layout was great and we had plenty of opportunity to get into a bathroom even with the 7 of us. There were a couple of very small things that were not perfect, but overall, we loved the apartment and would stay there again without hesitation.

We had no issues not meeting a host at the apartment and having to get the key in a lockbox, but it was frustrating to not have a host available when we we needed someone to talk to. We tripped a circuit breaker one evening and could not find the breaker box. It took us a long time, but we finally found the breaker box behind a picture on a wall, but it would have been nice to talk to someone and save us a lot of time and frustration. This unit was listed as an AirBnB, but we booked it through Book.com which is definitely NOT an AirBnB. The kitchen was small, but it suited our needs well. It was not well stocked with pots and pans to cook with, but since we were not planning to cook anyway, we were fine. Pricewise, it was very expensive, but I don't think it was more expensive than other apartments for 7 in Positano. We would book it again if we returned despite the high cost.

The rooftop terrace is what made this accommodation so special. The view was amazing!

There were no shower curtains in the bathrooms and water went everywhere when showering. Also, one of the ensuites had absolutely no privacy from the bedroom. Would only be suitable for couples, not friends sharing, as we were. The towels were thin.

We stayed here as a group of eight for a girls’ trip and the apartment was absolutely perfect for us! 🥰 There was plenty of space, everything was clean and very cozy. The location is amazing – you can get everywhere quickly. And the view? Absolutely stunning! We truly enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime. Highly recommended! ⭐️
