About this house rental
This wonderful home is located on the top floor of the "Pension 61" historic place of passage for travelers and artists of the nineteenth century. Located in "Punta Reginella", the place where you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Positano, it looks to the left on the large beach "Incanto" and to the right on Fornillo Bay with Tower of Clavel and in the background the island of Li Galli residence of L. Massine and Rudolph Nureyv.From the terrace of the house, as in a ship is its bow, you can appreciate the view of the sunrise as in a few places in the world, and when the sun goes down, the landscape takes on the colors of pink / lilac that in Positano reach heavenly shades.The house composes of four panoramic bedrooms with private bathrooms, they preserve the ancient old inn distribution, which the owners have wanted to keep intact. All rooms have same magnificent view, including the kitchen and bathroom for guests. Even the hall with beautiful Moorish window that gives access to the terrace offers a breathtaking glimpse of the Amalfi Coast. Home decorating is extremely careful, made of antiques and design, and is the result of the owners' passion for travel and their Positano, place of adoption, along with the city of Naples belonging. The house is full of references to the concept of "Uovo" and the legend of the Sirens of Homer to anyone who was interested.The house is situated in the heart of Positano, and is a few stairs from the street level where you'll find restaurants, bars, pharmacies and bus stops around the country's interior. The two main beaches are within walking distance in five minutes along a picturesque footpath.The price includes daily cleaning for four hours (six days a week), daily linen change, air conditioning, wi-fi and final cleaning. Check-in time starts at 14:00 Check-out by 10.00 am (unless otherwise agreed).

An absolute 10/10! From the moment I began inquiring about the house to our last day at Casa dell’Uovo, Roberto and his team made every effort to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our host Roberto was very responsive and thorough in answering all my questions, Georgia was very welcoming during check-in, and the most charming Clementina kept the house clean and tidy during our 10 day holiday. We also made arrangements for Clementina to prepare several dinners for us. By far, the meals she made were the best we had in Positano. It is an experience not to be missed.With 8 adults in our group, Casa dell’Uovo was not only comfortable and lovely but had great amenities (washer, dryer, ice maker, etc.) that made our stay even more pleasurable. The balcony was our favorite part of the house, where we spent many hours together taking in the beautiful ocean view, and where I witnessed the magnificent sunrise every morning.Our experience at Casa dell’Uovo - the house, hospitality, and location - was absolutely amazing. Bravo Roberto, Georgia and Clementina! I hope to return soon.

Stunning apartment with fabulous location. our favorite activity was watching the moonrise and sparkle across the Sea from the Terrace. Four bedrooms with en suite bathroom was perfect for my family with three adult children. Wonderful housekeeper, Clementina, who cooked my family a delicious dinner one evening. Roberto is a most gracious host Potano as always 10 out of 10.!

This property is amazing! Our family really enjoyed staying in this villa for an extended period of time. Every space around the house is comfortable and was designed with a lot of love. There are views in every room, even some of the bathrooms. The bedrooms are fully stocked, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is a dream, everything you need is there. The living space is large and comfortable and the balcony/terrace is simply amazing with incredible views of all of Positano. Location was perfect and central, near the main road, not too many steps to get to the house. Closer to the base so easier access to the beaches (steps are inevitable in Positano). The details and amenity one would want has been thought of, even those amenities you wouldn’t expect to have in Italy: washer and dryer, ice machine etc! The AC worked great! The house was always cool, we were very comfortable day and night with the temperature.Roberto the owner was very responsive and accommodating during the planning process. When we arrived Giorgia was very helpful and met us at the house to greet us, she was great. The house comes with daily housekeeping services, making this vacation a truly relaxing experience. Clementina was so lovely, meeting her made our experience even better as we had an opportunity to get to know her and chat with her. This villa is truly a gem! I am so happy I had an opportunity to experience it.
