This was my first time solo travelling Hanoi, Vietnam. I chose this place close to Old quarters and am happy with the results. The value for money was fantastic. The host greeted me when I first arrived and I felt more relaxed. Right next to the homestay is a lovely coffee shop/bar that I recommend.
My only complaint was the noise from construction one morning. I stayed for 5 nights solo and it's a small dislike.

Located down a small alley just outside the old quarter. I loved exploring a more local part of town.
There was a water bottle from previous guests under the bed, which was also dirty. I dropped my phone off the bed and had to go under to get it. And there was a candy wrapper under one of the shelves. Where it’s easy to clean was good but if you looked around cleaning could be much better. As a guest I was instructed I had to remove all my own garbage so I took the other stuff too. Also if you are concern med about fire safety. There’s one very small window and no fire escapes.
