The Little Gate House at Gate House Holidays

Lovely property in convenient location. Very quiet and tranquil.

On the date I was meant to be staying at the little gate house I was in hospital so stayed in the garden nook this weekend. Everything is so thought through, little things you wouldn’t think of have been available here. It feels like a home away from home. The property itself is so lovely and peaceful! The hosts have gone above and beyond to facilitate an amazing stay, when we arrived, there was a gift basket with homemade jam, bread, some sweet treats and pods for the tassimo machine, they even included cadburys hot chocolate for my daughter to have which she absolutely loved! The different things that are included in the stay honestly shocked me as I have stayed in a few places and they never have such a wide variety of kitchen utensils it’s very basic normally but not here. I would 100% recommend this property and have been to friends whilst staying here. It’s very clean and so beautiful. There is parking a private patio area with seating and a table. Even down to the bathroom extras, the shampoo, conditioner and body wash smelt absolutely amazing. This weekend has been very hot, the hosts were very apologetic about the lack of AC unit but provided 2 fans which really did help they let me know there will be an AC unit fitted some point in July. They even provided a little paddling pool for my daughter so she could cool down: If you ever want a little get away I would suggest you book in such high quality at a very reasonable price and the hosts Kristy and Tom have been very accommodating which makes it a million times better. Thank you so much to them both for a perfect get away for me and my daughter to have some quality time, we will be booking again!

Nothing made me dislike the property.

Cosy, nice, very clean, a little paradise. It was relaxing after the trekking tour on ODP. Kristy organized food for dinner and breakfast, perfect, thank you very much.
