Wir hatten insgesamt einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Apartment war auf dem neusten Stand mit super Geräten. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Die Lage fanden wir auch super. Strand, Café, Restaurant und Supermarkt sind zu Fuß erreichbar.
Erst nach Buchung wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass sich gegenüber eine Baustelle befindet. Diese hat uns jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt. Während unserer Anwesenheit im Apartment, fanden keine Bauarbeiten statt.
Das Bett könnte etwas größer sein.
Der Security Dienst war eines Abends nicht erreichbar, so dass wir einige Zeit vor dem Apartment warten mussten, bis uns jemand reinlies.

Beautiful modern apartment with all of the conveniences and little luxuries that make for a very comfortable stay: including the coffee machine and netflix. The security staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful and there is a sofa area to wait for taxis inside if desired, although we were advised by multiple people that it's a very safe area and we enjoyed walking around, including to Clifton Beach and Camps Bay one day and out for a lovely dinner at Ariel Italian late another evening. While in Cape Town, recommend Boulders Beach for the penguins, Gold for the tasting menu and drumming workshop and Pot Luck for the sunset views and delicious Asian fusion food. Note both restaurants are in areas that we were recommended to use taxis for rather than walk to at night.
At time of writing (18th Oct 2025) there is significant building/construction work next to this accommodation and Mon-Fri, loud power tools were in use from 7am-4pm during our stay.. Would advise contacting the hosts as we found Erhard to be helpful and he can probably advise when this is expected to end, or at least due to move to a quieter phase of construction. If you plan to be out on day excursions (e.g. Wine Valley or Cape Point) then these tend to start early anyway and the noise shouldn't disrupt your trip, but you cannot sleep through it as it is in close proximity to the bedroom. It is quieter from the living room.

The space is so well optimised, and I’m very impressed with the cleanliness and the styling of the apartment. The balcony will offer a really nice view in future, once construction is completed on the opposite side of the road.
Bedroom curtains aren’t block out and felt a little bit too transparent for my liking. Construction at the moment (August 2025) does make it noisy if you plan to stay indoors for most of the day. Parking in the basement is a bit tight as well so parking the rental car in there was a little bit stressful.
