Munduk Nature Lodge

Beautiful run Homestay… the food and service exceptional. So welcoming and the lodges are beautiful. I loved being so close to nature and the waterfalls and some lovely restaurants near by too (all local food). Try the rice pudding breakfast with broth! It is amazing!!!! So happy to have found this place!

I loved everything about the property, I would say hire a scooter is ideal which they can organise for you!

C'était mon 1er voyage à Munduk et de loin le plus beau souvenir de mon voyage de 3 semaines à Bali, en grande partie grâce à Kadek et sa famille, qui sont exceptionnels ! L'établissement est top, en contre-bas du village donc dans un calme absolu, vues magnifiques, chambre cozy très propre avec tout ce qu'il faut, les petit déjeuners absolument délicieux ! Kadek est vraiment formidable : n'étant pas motorisée, il m'a amené en scooter dans les rizières, aux cascades, au village de Munduk, c'est un conducteur hors pair ! La région de Munduk vaut vraiment le détour et est très authentique, c'est une halte à mon avis incontournable pour découvrir le vrai Bali, entre montagnes, temples et cascades. Je recommande à 300% cet établissement, terima kasih to you all for my wonderful stay and the great scooter rides, I will come back for sure, cioum and sampai jumpa 🙏💖🙌🙋‍♀️

Relax nature quiet view amazing

My stay was disappointing overall. The room had an unpleasant smell throughout my stay. I am not sure whether it was due to humidity in the wooden structure or another issue, but it made the accommodation less comfortable than expected. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. It was very basic and not filling: just a plain omelette, a coffee, and a fruit juice. For the price paid, I expected something more substantial. Another negative point was the scooter rental service offered by the property. I was given two different scooters during my stay, and both were in very poor condition. The first one had almost no brakes, while the second had worn-out front suspension. This was both uncomfortable and potentially dangerous, especially in the mountainous area of Munduk, where roads can be steep and in poor condition. What disappointed me most was the lack of any commercial gesture or solution after these issues were reported. I would have appreciated some effort to address the situation and improve the overall experience. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I do not feel that the accommodation offers good value for money.
