Really nice little cottages with superb view. Great viewpoint too in breakfast "tower".

They are still working to make the garden better, so not everything is ready yet. But will become great! A little more cleaning up the grounds would be nice. For european standard there is a little too many plastic garbage on the grounds, maybe they could pick that up to make it more "nature"..

Very happy with the location, but also cleanliness. For a relatively low price, the team manages to provide a simple but gorgeous room and is always readily available to help out with almost anything. The food is very nice as well.

Well, basically everything was much more than we expected, especially considering the rates. The team itself mentioned that they want to finish the Warung and overall site, that would definitely add something to the atmosphere and not only make it a very nice lodge to sleep, but also a very cosy and hospitable place to enjoy a meal. Finally, air condition would be beneficial, although the combination of a mosquito net and fan worked fine.

Beautiful peaceful area, and wonderful family to stay with!

The family who run Munduk Nature Lodge are so helpful and lovely. Nothing was any trouble. They gave us great information for our stay. We ate in most nights and enjoyed the food and the company. We enjoyed the jungle views, waterfalls and walks to the rice paddies and local farms.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nature Lodge. If you’re traveling to Munduk for nature, this is the place to be. You sleep in a beautiful bungalow overlooking the jungle (waking up to that view is truly magical). The family who runs the lodge is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything you need. The food was also fantastic, freshly prepared and full of flavor. Great place to get away from the city. Just a little deep in from the main village but that makes it more peaceful!

Rustic location with great view of the countryside from the balcony. Even though there was no air-conditioning, just a fan, it was still cool at night. Bathroom was large and spacious and comes with good toiletries. Dinner of ayam goreng was great!

Nothing to complain about if you come prepared for a rustic stay as there is no WiFi, TV or hairdryer. Maybe the owner can just put a glass in the bathroom for guests to save water when brushing teeth.

Nice room at a quiet place with positive vibes

Nice room with a view, very friendly and helpful host. With a very positive intention and actions for developing Munduk and its tourism in a sustainable way, taking care of its wonderful nature.

The location is somewhat remote, which is the case for several homestays in Munduk. Which on the other hand is better than locations along the main road with its ongoing noice. And the host is willing to drop you anywhere you need or to provide you with a scooter.

Wonderful place

We loved it was a family run homestay in the most beautiful huts with the most stunning of views. Kadek, Emma and their beautiful little daughter Kanaya, were the best of hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Rivers, waterfalls and many warungs in the vicinity, either walking or driving. Loved it, will be back 💕 PS. The tour round their self sufficient pasture to plate garden is a must, and hearing of Kadeks vision for his homestead 🙏

Could stay for weeks!

Oh my goodness the staff were incredible! So friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The location was also breathtaking, as well as the breakfast and hospitality provided. We truly felt so welcome. The room also had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. I would happily spend weeks here.

One bed didn’t have a mosquito net, which would have been good so i could leave the window open overnight, but it didn’t affect my sleep. I had a comfortable sleep regardless, and a brilliant stay here at short notice.

Schattig huisje bij een gastvrije familie

Dit is een heel kleinschalige accommodatie bij een gastvrije en lieve familie. Het huisje is schattig en is van alles voorzien met uitzicht op de bergen. De familie maakt op verzoek een lekkere maaltijd die je ook op je balkonnetje mag nuttigen. Op het weggetje naar de acco zitten ook een aantal warungs, maar wij vonden het heel fijn lekker bij het huisje te kunnen eten. Er staat ook een koelkast met drankjes. Het is een beetje back to nature, precies zoals heel Munduk is. Doe zeker de waterfall trail, de familie regelt een taxi naar het beginpunt.

Era un sitioo precioso, estaban empezando con el alojamiento pero lo que estaba habilitado era precioso, una familia maravillosa. Muy limpio, nos prepararon una cena fabulosa cuando llegamos, riquísima comida casera. Las vistas maravillosas. Una mención especial para su hija pequeñita una niña encantadora que nos regaló unos momentos muy simpáticos y tiernos, gracias por la ficha de lego que me regalaste, la tengo con mucho cariño sobre mi mesa de trabajo para recordar tu preciosa risa 😄

La chambre est grande mais n’est pas au standard européen et pour le prix que j’ai payé pour Bali je m’attendais à ça. J’ai payé un prix comparable à une petite villa avec une une piscine privée en plein centre d’Ubud, hébergement que j’avais réservé juste après. Il y avait des fissures dans la chambre, la chambre n’est pas peinte uniformément, un peu d’eau fuit dans les toilettes, il y a des trous d’aérations partout dans toutes les pièces sans forcément de moustiquaires derrière qui laissent passer les insectes (très nombreux à Munduk on est en plein dans la forêt). On a l’impression d’arriver dans un logement avec du potentiel mais pas fini totalement.

Paradijsje op aarde

Wij hadden de twee kamers met uitzicht op de plantage tot onze beschikking. Dit uitzicht verveelt nooit, vooral bij zonsopgang en ondergang echt een kado. Voor wie houdt van kleinschalig, ecologisch en een gastvrij ontvangst is dit de beste locatie. Superlieve en behulpzame familie. Heerlijk ontbijt en avondeten.

De wifi deed het niet altijd maar voor ons niet bezwaarlijk.

Todo un acierto en Munduk

Nos encantó. Es un negocio familiar nuevo, aún en obras, pero se nota que lo están haciendo con mucho cariño. La habitación que nos tocó era enorme, con balcón con vistas y ducha caliente (punto MUY a valorar si vienes a Indonesia, ya que la mayoría de sitios baratos tienen agua fría). El desayuno que pedimos para llevar ha sido uno de los mejores de nuestro viaje, súper completo. Los chicos del hotel (especialmente el padre) hablan bien inglés y te recomiendan multitud de lugares que visitar (todos están muy cerca). Además, cerca está el warung the heaven, que se come genial!!! Si volvemos a Munduk, nos quedaremos aquí sin duda.

Está lejos de la calle principal, solo recomendable si vas en moto.

Besonders gut hat uns die nette Familie gefallen, die zusammen die Lodges führen. Sie geben sich sehr viel Mühe und sind einfach super lieb. Mit dem Roller kommt man, wenn auch zwischendurch mit viel Mühe, alle Berge hoch und runter. Die Wasserfälle sind toll und man kann sie gut ohne Führung besuchen. Auch durch die Reisfelder sind wir auf kleinen Wegen gestreift. Probiert die vielen, authentisch Balinesisch kochenden Warungs aus!

Man braucht wirklich gutes Wetter, um etwas unternehmen zu können.

Un paradiso tra risaie e montagne …

Casa balinese reale ed accogliente in mezzo alla natura, le camere semplici ma spaziose e pulitissime con terrazza ed una vista meravigliosa. Colazione buonissima con scelta sia balinese/indonesiana che internazionale. Con una passeggiata di 15 min si arriva alle terrazze di riso poi con scooter (15/20 min) alle cascate della golden Valkey. Emma è Kadek sono stati ospiti eccezionali ed amichevoli (con la loro dolce bimba) sempre disponibili per qualsiasi consiglio anche per affitto dello scooter. Un saluto caloroso al padre di Kadek!!!

Fijn verblijf op mooie locatie

De accommodatie ligt op een prachtige locatie gelegen. De kamer is als een gezellig huisje. Schoon en netjes ingericht. Ontbijt lekker en netjes verzorgd. De familie is erg vriendelijk en gastvrij en hebben een prachtige visie wat betreft hun bedrijfsplannen voor de toekomst. In de omgeving liggen mooie wandelroutes en bij de lodge zijn er genoeg restaurantjes / warrungs in de buurt om wat te eten. Echt een aanrader!
