Good location in historic centre, spotless clean modern apartment, and got free parking in street, just needed to purchase ztl pass for €5 for the day we arrived, and purchased other passes for the days we moved around or exited the ztl. The host is exceptionally friendly and helpful, had to use Google translate but worked fine.
Like other reviews have said there is some noise sometimes from the corridor outside apartment at times when doors open and close, but it didn't bother us. The street felt rough at first coming from cefalu, but we realised quickly that palermo is like that and the street was good.

Very tidy and modern renovated apartment close proximity to old town
Water heater was not on and we had to turn it on ourselves and wait 1 hour for the water to heat up. At night, tenants in the building come and go and with paper thin walls we woke up numerous times during the night every time someone entered the building. Very noisy
