Maison Dorotea is a family run property- Close to the train station, very accessible. 5 minute walk to the main square. The property is located on a main road- in a residential block. Don’t let this put you off, the accommodation & room we booked was amazing! Over looked the mountains. The property was very clean & had all facilities you would need! The room had a kettle making facilities/ safe & wardrobe space. Rooms were very modern, bed was very comfortable. There was breakfast provided every morning which included, cereal, bakery items which was provided in the comunal area. We met francesco upon arrival who was very friendly & helpful- nothing was too much for him! Would highly recommend this place to stay! Don’t have a bad word to stay!

This was the best room we stayed in during our visit to Italy (florence, rome naples, sorrento). We loved the overall layout and design. The room and bathroom were much more modern with new, beautiful finishes and just more of what we are used to having in the US. It was quiet and peaceful, a perfect place to end our stay in Italy. It also had a cute balcony and the location is 15 minute walk to the Port and a much shorter walk to everything else!

I think the breakfast lacked but given the type of place it is, I understand there not being a breakfast like hotels have. My husband and I really liked the cereal and muffins.

the location was perfect to the all the areas like the center square, the ferry terminal and the marina.

the breakfast was not good at all. we have stayed at guest houses before and never received plastic wrapped items. there were amazing bakeries around the corner just would of been a nice touch as well as fresh fruit and some cheeses. also i did not like that we only received new towels after 3 days of usage and the limited to one roll of toilet paper. luckily we saw someone from the air b&b to request a back up roll every morning
