Overbooking and refused check-in at night

We booked well in advance (about a month and a half ahead). Five days before arrival the property sent a message saying they “couldn’t accommodate us,” but they didn’t cancel the reservation—just wrote it in the chat. We were already traveling and only noticed it a couple of days before arrival. We arrived at 22:30 and were refused check-in. We had to contact Booking support (I’m Genius Level 3). In the end, we were rebooked only around midnight at another hotel about 5 km away. The property offered no help—no alternatives, no compensation. One more unpleasant detail: a friend traveling with us booked the same property later than we did (by a couple of weeks) and was accommodated without any issue—at double the price. It gives a strong impression that our refusal wasn’t due to a “technical error,” but to reselling the room at a higher rate. Bottom line: our evening was ruined, lots of stress, and wasted time. Not recommended—unreliable and unfair to guests.

Très accueillant 👌

La flexibilité des solutions, notamment pour caser un enfant un plus -- une petite chauffeuse a été gracieusement mise à disposition --, le soin du confort et de la décoration, on sent que la tenancière met un point d'honneur à ce que sa clientèle se sente comme -- et même mieux ! -- qu'à la maison. Elle est d'ailleurs très sympathique et accueillante. Et enfin : le prix !

Les deux points qui suivent n'ont pas d'impact sur la note qui reste un 10 ferme, car nous avons énormément apprécié, reviendrons au besoin et recommandons chaleureusement l'adresse 👌 Simplement le premier contact avec l'homme du couple aurait pu être plus chaleureux... Nous demandions uniquement les modalités de remise des clefs, or nous avions l'impression de déranger. Ceci dit de visu c'était détendu, et tout s'est très bien passé. Nous imaginons que cela ne tient parfois pas à grand chose, et qu'il suffit qu'il ait eu un client désagréable juste avant, ou d'autres désagréments. Donc nous n'en tenons pas rigueur 👌 Nous avons également eu un souci avec une des enfants.du groupe, n'arrivant plus à ouvrir le verrouillage de la porte de la salle de bain. Mais nul doute que les tenanciers vont -- ou ont déjà -- procédé au changement ou la modification intégrale des verrouillages de l'intérieur des portes domestiques. Ce sont effectivement de vieux petits boutons, avec peu de prise et trop durs à tourner pour un enfant, dont la poigne n'est pas forcément assez ferme. Et en l'occurrence la serrure est restée coincée. Dans le doute il vaut mieux que l'enfant soit accompagné ou ne ferme pas

Keukenafvoer deed het niet. Vlak achter liep een spoorlijn waar regelmatig een trein over kwam. Voor een drukke doorgaande route.

Excellent séjour à tout point de vue que je recommande sans aucune hésitation.

Tout était parfait ! L'accueil des logeurs une dame très sympathique qui met un point d'honneur à satisfaire le client. Pour nous, la situation géographique était plus que parfaite à 300 mètres du lieu où nous avons exposé. L'hôtel étant situé quasiment au centre ville. Que dire du petit déjeuner, tout simplement exquis et très copieux avec des produits frais locaux.
