Villa Kalamos consists of 3 traditional houses in a 6000 M2 estate, near the archaeological site of Amfiario Oropos, Attica. Located out of town, access is by car only. It is 45' from the center of Athens and 50' from the airport. Very close to the sea with panoramic views. It has a 5x12m pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi.
The residence K2 Deluxe (178 M2) is one of the 3 residences and can accommodate 10 people. It has 2 bedrooms and the space “Cellar”
Villa Kalamos is located near the archaeological site of Amphiareion of Oropos (1.50 km). It is 45 minutes by car from the center of Athens (49 km) and 50 minutes from Athens International Airport (65 km). It is located outside the city and is only accessible by car. The house perched on a quiet, green slope, at the edge of the pine forest and nearby the sea, enjoys a panoramic view of the South Euboean gulf It has a 5,00X12,00 m swimming pool.Guests will have a special experience as this villa features a pool with a view, a hot tub and a fireplace.
From the pool level, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the sea. The pool (5.00X12.00m, depth from 1.20 to 2.20m) is surrounded by a wooden floor. It has an overflow device, hydromassage, reverse swimming, shower, chaise longs and umbrellas and it operates continuously 24 hours a day. The pool and the house are surrounded by a wonderful garden of mediterranean herbs, shrubs, flowers and fruit trees, in the heart of a beautiful olive grove. Enjoy the beauty of nature, absolute tranquility and privacy, in a comfortable, modern space that was built with passion, attention to detail, respect for the environment and a special love for tradition. Coastal area, sparsely populated, on the slope of a verdant hill with a panoramic view to the sea. The district called "Prasinos Lofos" (Green Hill), near the archaeological site of Amphiareion (1.5 Km). The house has a beautyfull swimming pool (5,00X12,00 m) with a panoramic sea view. The distance to the beach is about 500 m. At a distance of 800 m, there is a tavern, a cafe, a bakery and a minimarket. Markets are located at a distance of 3-5 km in Kalamos, Agioi Apostoloi and Oropos, with supermarkets, shops, taverns, cafes, pharmacies, health center, doctors of all specialties. A car is necessary for transportation. There is available free parking area. The local transportation is insufficient. Villa Kalamos was built as a labor of love, and it shows. John designed the property to be reminiscent of an historical Byzantine monument, including a magnificent stone tower, with superb attention to detail, especially in the dramatic lower level kitchen and dining area, where the vaulted ceiling soars to a great height. The three sections of the house can be combined or kept separate, each having their own entrance and kitchen. There is even an elevator. Outside there is a gorgeous, well maintained garden, with numerous trees, lush lawn, a large in-ground pool, and jacuzzi, all with spectacular sea views. Villa Kalamos is a little difficult to get to, through a winding wooded area, but the journey is worth it. At the end you will meet John’s kind hospitality, and a property like no other.
