Great location and great accommodation for the price. Comfy bed. Would stay again.

The location is excellent - the high street is really nice. The bed is comfortable and there's lots of space. It is very clean. Excellent facilities and really good value for money. It's very secure and the bed is very comfortable.

The keys were not in the box to collect and I couldn't get hold of the host via the phone number provided. They did come back fairly quickly on the booking.com messages but we did waist about half an hour in the cold, after a long drive waiting. It's also not ideal if you intend to get food deliveries as there is not front door as such - the apartment is above a shop and the door is behind the shop through a locked gate and locked door.

A home from home in Barry-bados!

The apartment was very well presented and in a perfect place for us. A home from home.

Parking is a little tricky at times, but the permit provided was very helpful. The shower could do with looking at as it did not hold it's temperature very well.

Stunning property, well kitted out, clean and comfy

Just the access was quite dark at night, walked on my own on one occasion and felt a bit uncomfortable.

Location was fantastic and we loved the apartment we couldn’t stop saying how much we enjoyed our stay! The bed was incredibly comfy one of the comfiest we’ve stayed on! Overall the holiday was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!!

There was a few things that could’ve been cleaner such as a build up of dust in bathroom radiator and it’s noticeable as you sit next to it and the build up of dirt on the shower pipe. The only other thing we would recommend facilities wise would be some new pans as whenever we tried to use them whatever was used on it prior to our visit had been burnt so it would smell and stick and wasn’t great so we ended eating out more.

Avoid if you’re elderly

It was clean and central to everything. The bed was very comfortable.

There’s a lot of steep steps inside and outside so not suitable for everyone. The carpet runner from the front door is buckled and a trip hazard ⚠️, the door knob to the bathroom was missing all screws and fell off. No hot water from tap on the bath, and lukewarm water from the shower. Central heating was very difficult to operate. Exposed electrical wires in bedroom! Wallpaper buckled, possibly hiding a multitude of sins. Couldn’t cook breakfast as the two frying pans were rusty. Also, the so called free parking on Market Street, is only available on a first come first served basis if you’re lucky. The place needs a total overhaul inside and out. Plenty other things wrong there, but too numerous to mention.

Would not stay again

They will charge you a non refundable fee to collect the keys out of the box unless you have £195 sitting around in your bank account that you weren’t hoping to use. Wish I’d known that prior to arriving at the apartment. Tried to call them to get the heating up and running for my 2 night stay. They replied 45 mins before I was due to check out and offered to show me how to set the heating.

Dog friendly, lovely clean and spacious, great value for money

Pet friendly and very clean, lovely little house above a boutique in the main square of Barry, everything easy to get to, shops on the same street, easy to access, pet friendly. Towels provided, full shower and bath, the shower was exceptional. Bed was lovely and comfy and very nicely made. Top floor was really nice and my step son loved having his own little space. Kitchen could do with a little update but other than that it's brilliant and everything you need to cook and eat in.

Comfortable stay in Barry

Bed was v comfortable, nice living room - good location fast WiFi , good communication from the hosts. Easy to find. Shower is quite powerful. Overall a comfortable stay ..

But .. No cleaning products given that there was no dishwasher - 1 very old looking scourer and 1 tea towel was all so couldn’t clean the pots properly- for this reason you can’t really cook a meal and there not much in the immediate vicinity to eat out . Bathroom a bit tired, only 4 tiny sachets of Nescafé coffee for 2 of us for 2 mornings so lucky we brought our own coffee machine. Please buy a corkscrew.

Amazing Stay!!!

I enjoyed my stay at the lovely home. The location was perfect; it was close to the beach and had easy access to many things. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the garden was a real bonus, truly useful for relaxing after a day out.

I found my place to stay in South Wales

Really enjoyed my stay here with the family. Very clean, and beautifully furnished apartment. Also great value for money! The sitting room & bedroom is very spacious and It is a short walk to both the town centre and the beach which is handy. We will be back. Also appreciated the box of chocolates to mark my partners birthday get away! Thank you
