Disappointing for the cost of 2 nights accommodation not worth almost £250 a night.

The location was good it was halfway between Barry and Barry Island, not quite as described on Barry Island but better actually.

The apartment was shabby and tired, frayed and stained carpets, dining chairs in poor condition, upstairs shower unable to regulate temperature, always boiling hot. Cobwebs in downstairs bathroom, some windows in lounge unable to be opened due to broken handles The Wi-Fi didn’t work as no password provided and when company was asked to supply one they didn’t. The apartment is above a restaurant whose kitchen vent spews oil onto the flats access stairway, you have to run a gauntlet every time you enter or leave the property. My daughter got dripped on, hopefully it will come out of her dress. The kitchen has a coffee pod machine (pointless with no introductory pods provided) same with the dishwasher.

The locate was great

Marble floor very slippery as you walk into the property as marble floors and not door mat, carpet on the stairs not fixed down in two places nearly tripped more than once . Food and litter under table in living room, hated been hoovered at all and very dusty,property was generally dirty hadn’t been cleaned properly. chipped glass wear. Beds upstairs were very squeaky.

Spring break in Barry

Good views and close to amenities with restaurant at our doorstep. Very prompt response by host to sort out very loud music at midnight or thereabouts from downstairs flat. (had a sleeping baby with us!)

Entrance through ugly fire exit style iron steep stairs, with cigarette butts everywhere. Difficult parking. Very steep stairs within property meant it was not suitable for children or anyone with mobility issues.

The host was very accommodating and provided to our request. The property was lovely and clean with beautiful views.

The property was situated via an undesirable entrance area where my old parents had to climb a set of metal staircase to get to the first floor which was not lite in the evening. The key lock code provided by booking.com was incorrect so needed to call the host for the correct key code on arrival. I was pleased to say my call was answered. I would also recommend providing instructions on where the entrance to the property is situated since it took some asking around to find out.

Fabulous apartment, plenty of space.

The location was fabulous - right across from the beach, and within walking distance to the train station. The apartment is up a couple of flights of exterior stairs. Once you're inside, there is a spacious kitchen with all appliances and equipment needed, a great living/dining room, 3 large bedrooms (one with en-suite) and a family bathroom. The ensuite has a walk in shower. There is also a washing machine. Loads of space and very convenient for everything you need. The Turkish restaurant downstairs has fabulous food and really friendly staff. The beds are very comfy, with good quality linen. There were also plenty of clean towels provided.

The apartment is well cared for in terms of furnishings and equipment, but I expected it to be cleaner. The carpets are worn and stained in some areas. I paid a cleaning fee for our stay, but found food ground into the stair carpet on arrival. I hope that the owners don't think that was us! The dining table has seats for 4, but the apartment sleeps 6, so wouldn't plan a formal meal for 6 if coming back.

there was one thing we all thought and that was I can’t wait to come back.

it’s was a very nice setting with beautiful views and a lovely walk to the beach, the house itself was so beautiful and so well done through out.

we had no issues was the perfect place for the family.

Pleasant

Location to the beach Communication with hosts was fast and responsive

No meet and greet.just the keys and keycode and you get on with it. No brochures or pamplets to help orientate. No close onsite parking. This made it difficult to offload/reload luggage e.t.c there is free parking in the side streets but up a very steep hill and out of site. Neighbours below found noise from the kids abit too noisy and had to ask us to keep it down which was very difficult with a 3 and 5 year old. The exterior. The location is just above a Turkish restaurant which was fine but the kitchen vents are located just next to the flat which gives off a very strong barbecued meat smell very strong permanent smell as you climb the metal staircase to the flat entrance and occasionally sips through open windows.

Great location apartment total disappointment, things either broken, not working, very smelly.

Very disappointed, the apartment smelt throughout from the extractor fan from restaurant below, no water from kitchen hot tap, windows would not shut, crockery and cutlery dirty. We left after one night. Host have not acknowledged my email regarding above issues.

Birthday weekend in Barry

Beautiful little apartment, spotlessly clean. Beautiful view from bedroom. Good sized kitchen, cosy living space. There was 4 of us, so we had a room each, a bathroom each and we had a room spare, we used that room as the "getting ready room" just because we had the spare space 👌. Would highly recommend, as it's so close to everything in Barry and only 15minutes from Cardiff. Excellent value for money and I had good communication with the host, she's very friendly and helpful!

That I had to go home 🥺 would have loved to have stayed longer. We was only there for a nice little weekend for my husband's birthday, it was perfect for what we needed.

100% recommend to anyone!

The property was very spacious and modern furniture. The views from all bottom rooms were incredible. Kitchen facilities were great, we were able to cook what we needed when we needed. Downstairs bathroom and en-suite upstairs were very clean and lovely. Very easy process booking and checking in. It did get very cold however heating was great and we were all very warm once we switched the heating on. 30 mins drive to Cardiff city centre which was great as we came down to watch the rugby, super easy roads and parking outside the property was easy with our visitor parking permit provided for us at the property. I would also like to add that we had left a possession at the property and it was super easy to contact the team and have them arrange to post it out to my home address. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone and I will most definitely be staying in the property again should I be coming down south. :)

Superb

The accommodation is clean and roomy and in a good location. Little touches such as best seller books on bedside table were thoughtful and I appreciated the bowl of biscuits, tea, coffee and milk sachets.

I didn't like the excessive number of emails required to book, confirm, reconfirm etc this property for just 2 nights. I also didn't like having to upload a scan of my passport, nor having to vacate by 10am. If you have trouble negotiating stairs then this is not the property for you as access is via an external metal staircase up to the 2nd floor.
