Apartamento Vista Mar

Everything was simply amazing! We were so lucky to find this apartment, and it’s a real shame it wasn’t available for the entire duration of our vacation—just four days—but we were still very happy with it. The apartment is small, but it has everything you need, from a kettle to an iron. Every detail has been thought through to ensure guests’ comfort. We were really impressed by how clean the apartment was—you rarely see that even in expensive hotels. The location is a huge plus; everything is close by and the transportation is convenient, and the view from the balcony is just amazing. We spent our evenings and had breakfast there—it was wonderful. The apartment’s host, Carla, is a very kind woman; she let us check out later than scheduled, for which we are very grateful. If we come back to Funchal, we’ll definitely stay in these apartments (though next time I’ll book a couple of months in advance, since there aren’t always available dates for renting this apartment).

The view! This apartment was perfect for my stay in Funchal. It was very clean and had everything I needed, including a kitchenette and a comfortable bed. I loved the balcony! The host was friendly and gracious and stored my bags for me before check in. I would definitely stay here again.

*Not the fault of the owner* Unfortunately, the pool was closed for maintenance (the booking mentioned this). The closest public pool was also closed for maintenance. The property sits down a fairly steep hill. This was not a deal-breaker but would have been handy to know in terms of choosing drop off/pick up transportation with luggage.

Parkering var ikke god. Der var to små parkeringspladser, og biler holdt på kryds og tværs, og det var svært at komme frem. Det var en stressfaktor. Omgivelser omkring lejligheden var nedslidte.
