Ocean View Studio 2 with pool

The view from the balcony was amazing

Towels when wet, were smwlling very badly. There was only a sheet to be used as a cover during the night. In my opinion it was not enough to feel warm. Host let me know only few in advance, although I have asked for duvet weeks in advance.

The best things about the apartment was the view from the balcony. It was an ideal spot to sit and watch the sunrise before breakfast and then sit and read a book in the afternoon with the sea view but without the direct heat of the sun. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good too.

While the apartment is really close to a main bus stop and a shopping centre with a large supermarket, there is about 100m of very steep hill to get there. Also, my trip was out of main season. I was looking forwards to using the pool but this was out of use. The host offered an alternative at the nearby lido but I was looking for adhoc pool use, not an afternoon at the lido so this was a disappointment.

La stupenda vista sull'oceano che si gode dal terrazzino con rumore di onde! Ogni negozio in vicinanza. Ci sono le facilities descritte come phon e lavatrice.

Difficoltà iniziale a trovare l'appartamento situato in un palazzone abbastanza decadente (per esempio i bordi piscina con mattonelle di scolo rotte a metà e appoggiate) con la scritta esterna "appartamentos do mar" ( da nessuna parte leggerai ocean view) Seconda difficoltà: parcheggio. Quasi impossibile se non a pagamento (8.50 euro) nel vicino parcheggio (con orari di chiusura 24/7 quindi limitazioni per partenza per trekking all'alba!!!). Trovo che non corrisponda alla descrizione fornita in quanto i pochi posti del palazzo sono sempre occupati e in zona e' un vero colpo di fortuna trovare un posto libero. Il motivo è che si tratta di una zona marittima molto vivace, con grandi ed eleganti hotel, ma veramente affollata e rumorosa anche di notte. Abbiamo avvisato che il rubinetto del bagno non aveva la possibilità di erogare acqua fredda e che al posto di una tenda nella zona notte era stato appoggiato alla finestra un asciugamano ma non è cambiato nulla durante il soggiorno.

The apartment itself is fine. Good for 2 nights stay but no more. It was right next to the sea so it had fantastic views over the ocean.

The couch was stained and not comfortable. The bathroom sink is blocked. The bed is very hard and hard to sleep on and there was only a very thin duvet...no blankets.
