About this apartment rental
Comfortable well equipped one bedroom apartment within a secure condominium in the hotel zone on the west of Funchal.
The apartment provides guests with a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, (hair-dryer, iron and washing machine).
The living room has a sofa, fully equipped kitchenette with breakfast bar, cable TV and free wi-fi.
Condominium parking is provided at no cost, but it is subject to availability, and a public car park, Tecnoparque, is a two-minute drive away..
The apartment is on the 6th floor with lift access and stunning sea views.
There is direct access to the coastal promenade for relaxing walks, jogging, and seafront cafes and restaurants.
Two public swimming pool complexes, Ponta Gorda and Lido, with sea access, are situated within a short walking distance from the apartment building.
THE CONDOMINIUM POOL IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR THE UPCOMING WORKS.
Praia Formosa, Funchals' longest beach is also within walking distance from the apartment building.
The Madeira Forum Shopping Center is a few minutes' walk up the road with its hypermarket, banks, multitude of shops, cinemas, cafes, coffee shops and snack bars. One street up, you will find a selection of smaller shops including the famous CR7 boutique owned by the sister of the soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo.
The center of Funchal is served by regular local bus connections (about 3 km ) and Aerobus service to and from the airport (23 km). The bus stop is just a couple of minutes' walk up the main road.
Upon previous request taxi transfers can be arranged to and from the airport for 30 euros each way.

Annikka was a responsive host. She also helped us arrange pickup from the airport. The apartment was very small but clean and had wonderful views from the balcony which we used daily. The washing machine was not working but Annikka was quick to arrange someone to take a look at it - unfortunately the unit needed to be replaced so we were not really able to use it. Not her fault. The building itself is definitely run down. The pool was closed indefinitely which was unfortunate as it would have been nice to use, and there was alot of deterioration on the exterior of the building. I think if they renovated the building slightly this could be a perfect vacation rental. The location was great and the views of the water were beautiful. Thanks Annikka!

The apartment is in a very good location, close to the beach, shops, bus stop. The view is beautiful. We found everything we needed in the apartment :) The communication with the host was fast and he was always willing to help. I can only recommend the apartment.

The apartment is nice and cosy, has nearly everything you might need for your stay. Very close to many restaurants, shops and beaches. The check-in and out was very easy, Annikka is an excellent host. The property will only benefit with a better mattress and a smart TV. Overall - good value for money.
