Duas Torres View Apartment

La empresa que gestionaba el apartamento nos comunicó la noche anterior a la llegada que este apartamento no estaba disponible por un problema, pero nos pasaron a un alojamiento más grande, con los mismos servicios y por el mismo precio. Además, su localización estaba muy cerca y hubo facilidades para comunicarnos con la mujer que nos atendió y para realizar el pago. Por eso su servicio fue inmejorable.

Hay que tener en cuenta que las valoraciones en cuanto a la calidad del alojamiento se refieren al otro al que nos reasignaron. Aún así, el único punto regular se lo lleva la limpieza del suelo de la terraza y los baños.

Review of the Apartment on Madeira Island First of all, I apologize for the candid feedback, but I believe it’s crucial to share our experience so future guests and the hosts can address these issues. Overall ExperienceWe stayed for 10 days expecting a comfortable getaway, but encountered several serious shortcomings: 1. Climate & Ventilation No air conditioning, and direct sunlight makes the apartment unbearably hot by day. A persistent musty odor in every cabinet and drawer — clothes absorb the unpleasant scent. 2. Kitchen & Appliances No extension cord or adapter, so you can’t run the kettle, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster simultaneously. You can’t even relocate the kettle to another outlet without the proper adapter. 3. Bathroom, Shower & Amenities The shower mixer is overtightened: you can’t remove the hose or use the hand-held showerhead, so you’re forced to rinse yourself from above. Water doesn’t drain: the tray fills quickly and threatens to flood the room. An old pump in the balcony’s service cupboard only occasionally alleviated the problem. The shower gel was almost entirely diluted with water — effectively just scented water with hardly any cleansing agent. 4. Doors & Hardware The bathroom door has no handle at all — you can’t even pull it closed. The bedroom door’s handle keeps detaching, so it won’t stay shut. 5. Cleanliness & Pests A large cockroach calmly approached us inside the room — I haven’t seen anything like that in decades. Floors were grimy, and there were no slippers provided — bring your own. 6. Bedroom & Bedding The mattress is excessively firm with no topper, and the mattress, pillows, and duvet emit a foul odor — it felt like sleeping on a dirty hostel bunk. Pillows are either too flat or rock-hard. The sheets don’t fit the bed or duvet properly, and there’s no spare set for a 10-day stay. 7.

Lage ist gut. Parkplatz vor der Wohnung! Schwimmbad des Hotels kann mitbenutzt werden. Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf vor der Haustüre bzw. 150 Meter.

Türklinke an Badezimmertüre hat auf einer Seite gefehlt. Es bräuchte in der Küche: 1 Schneidebrett, 1 kleinen Kochtopf, Knoblauchpresse, Geschirrtücher
