A complete disappointment.

I feel obliged to write this review so that no other father or family has to go through what we experienced.
I rented this property through Booking.com to spend a pleasant holiday with my wife and our three children and to stay for two nights. Although the reservation was made via Booking.com, we were asked for additional verifications and then for card details, and an extra deposit was charged on top of the payment. I accepted all of this as normal.
However, when we arrived, we realized that the apartment was actually a basement unit with almost no natural light and an extremely low ceiling height. As soon as the door was opened, we were hit by a very strong mold smell. Despite this, we entered the apartment because my children, my wife, and I were extremely tired after spending the entire day sightseeing.
Once inside, it became clear that the apartment was extremely dirty and unhygienic. The bed linens had clearly not been changed after the previous guests. There were visible bodily fluid residues on the bedding, including what appeared to be semen or mucus left behind by earlier occupants. This was shocking, unacceptable, and especially distressing given that I was staying there with my children.
In addition, there was a door inside the apartment leading to a dark cellar-like area. This door had no key, was covered in mold, and there were dead insects visible inside. Given that I was staying there with three children, this raised serious safety concerns, particularly since it was unclear where this space led.
I immediately contacted the host and requested that the cellar door be urgently secured and
that all bed linens be replaced. The responses I received were completely unacceptable. I was told that the cleaning team was on leave and that it would not be a problem even if the cellar door remained unlocked.

Fantastic location, convenient for the city centre.
The location of the apartment in central Bath was excellent - we travelled for the Christmas market and this apartment was only a short walk away from the stalls and city centre shops. There were a number of restaurants, pubs and cafes within a few minutes walk. We travelled by train, and the apartment was a short mostly flat stroll away. The apartment was clean and had everything we required for a short stay. The lighting inside the apartment was good, including sensor lighting in the stairwell/hallway which was useful.
The apartment was in the basement, however although there was limited natural light the interior lighting was plentiful. The beds - particularly the pillows were not to our liking, it would have been better to have a choice of pillows - all were high/plump.

The property is on basement. You take down stairs to go to the apartment. Limited daylight but the well fitted lights make the apartment lit n property feels damp due to being on basement.

At least one more toliet.. the shower area is slippery.. needs to have a better grip on the floor of the bath area.. there were no place to keep the shower soap and other things in the shower area.. needs to walk few steps and bend to take the soaps....

We arrived to find used acrylic nails strewn across the games room.
We couldn’t sleep in the triple room as it was so damp and noisy with what we think were the sound of rats behind a door. (The apartment is in a basement).

Perfect stay in the city centre
Property was immaculate as per the photos. Everything felt brand new. The kitchen was very well equipped with all new appliances and plenty of pots, pans etc. We really loved the design of this apartment and the lighting inside the property was also lovely. Bedding and pillow was very comfortable. My kids enjoyed the air hockey table! The location is very central but in a quiet street, with all the major Bath sights, shops and bars 5 min walk away. The team was also quite responsive and helpful.

Amazing location and comfortable apartment
Amazing location for a short break in Bath. All the best sites were within in a 5-10 min walk with lots of great cafes and restos nearby. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.
As is a basement apartment is a little dark but wasn't an issue since we weren't really there during the day.

Maybe another shower room could be added in the games room. There were 7 of us so it was a bit of a challenge but certainly didn’t take away from our stay.

Great fun in a superb location
Its location was amazing, very central to everything. The rooms were a good size and exceptionally clean, comfortable and very well presented. The bathroom was beautiful. Everything that you needed was available to you - it was nice to arrive with very clear instructions too.

The living areas were spacious and inviting, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was so nice to come back to such a lovely, relaxing space after a day of sightseeing.

Wow what a location, totally loved this property, have not seen anything like this before.
So grand and elegant, loved the simplicity this property offered, easy check in and check out instructions along with a idiot proof welcome template on how to manage and control heating use of appliances which is very helpful!
The beds, super comfy with great thick duvets and a great large relaxing space with a large Tv just what I like! Our mornings for breakfast were enjoyable with the open plan space and enough seats for the dining table and barstools included!
Location and easy access is a must for us, being right in the centre was a little sceptical about noise, but we slept with little to no noise which was great for the kids!
Hosts were super!, easy to communicate with which made our stay even better. Thanks again Pass The Property will definitely be back!
