Be wary and document everything

Supermarket nearby. Able to walk to town. Peaceful. Free parking.

We had a blackout the first night due to water seeping from the upstairs bathroom to the downstairs light fixture. The kids were taking a bath and we didn't realise the water was seeping through. I suppose you need to be careful about keeping the water in the tub. It was late so we just all went to bed. Thankfully the electricity came back on the next day when everything dried up. The stools in the rooms were wobbly but we did not report it since we thought it was no big deal. When we checked out they insisted we broke one of them and kept our deposit. I was unable to refute the claim because I didn't take any photos when I left. I was unable to get any partial refund of the deposit back and apparently they needed £250 to buy a new stool? It's been 2 months since my stay and no one has gotten back to me. Also all the pots and pans are really old and we found it hard to cook with them as the coatings have all come off. Also they only gave us a couple of dishwashing tablets for our 5 nights' stay. And no trash bags.

Do not rent THEY ARE SCAMMERS

Beware, this property is a scammer. Do not rent unless you want to be ripped off!! Is there a way to give them a "0" rating?

At the last minute, this property demanded a security deposit outside of Booking in order to give us access to the property. They said that they would refund the deposit within 7 days after leaving. Since we prepaid and were on our way to the property, we paid the deposit even though it seemed sketchy that it was not mentioned in the Booking listing. Upon returning to the USA, I inquired about the refund of the deposit since it was not posted to my credit card. A couple of days after my inquiry, they responded that there were damages. They only made up fake damages after I asked for the refund. They never mentioned it in the 10 days after we left.

Beaitiful Historic location

The place is really big, beautiful, and well-stocked. The bathroom tiles were warm. It's a beautiful historic location. They left some chocolates and wine and this was very appreciated after a long drive.

There was one TV in the entire place and none in the bedrooms. It was a 20-minute walk to the center of town and I thought would be closer. The walk was not pretty. There is no central AC so you have to sleep with windows open and given that when we arrived there were two police officers investigating "a safe found from a break-in" outisde the place, it did not feel very safe.

Great house in a great location for our hen party!

The property was much bigger than it appeared in pictures and slept 10 of us easily with lots of room in the kitchen/living area. The house was lovely and clean on arrival and had all the utensils we required. It is only a 5 minute taxi or 20 minute walk into the centre of Bath. The property is located at the edge of a cemetery, however once inside you were unaware of this.

There are 2x allocated car parking spaces for the property, however people outside of our party kept parking in these so we had to park elsewhere, this was not too much of an issue as there is ample parking around the house just slightly inconvenient.

There were 6 adults that stayed - it would have been nice if there was enough seats in the lounge to accommodate all of us, considering the house is advertised as sleeping 8, there is not enough seating. Towels were provided, but no bath sheets, only smaller towels. Road noise, as property is on the main road.

The location is great, about 15 mins walk to the centre of Bath, the lodge was lovely, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of toiletries.

We had a heatwave while I was there, the building was very cool downstairs but the bedrooms were really warm, there was 1 fan provided, wish there were a couple more for the other bedrooms. There were quite a few cobwebs over the light fixtures.

The lodge is set in a great location and with easy reach of the town centre . It was very roomy and fitted in 8 people perfectly ! bathrooms and kitchens stunning !! Beds were so comfortable!! House decorated lovely! All facilities in the house in working order! Close to shops if needing anything!!
