Rustic Elegance

Nice house perfectly located to visit the Finger Lakes area, on a quiet road. It is fully equipped with a smart TV, Japanese WC, functional kitchen, and is spacious. Beds were small yet comfortable. Good value for money to enjoy the area!

Cleanliness: the house wasn’t entirely clean when we arrived, with a used mug left in the sink and discarded contact lenses on the bedside table.. Security/safety: one of the windows of a ground floor bedroom doesn’t lock, which means it can be opened from the outside. We notified the manager on the evening of our arrival, but nothing was done during our stay to fix it. All of the fire detectors were also unplugged from the ceiling so none was operational

Great property, 15 mile from Watkins Glen on the West side of Seneca Lake. 1 mile from Plum Point Marina. Which is a great evening stop for live music in the water, bar/food available. Home is clean and comfortable. Bathroom is interesting. Toilet is unique, automatic ish(opens and flushes automatically, even if not in use). Sink has way too much water pressure (consider adjusting the valve). Shower has no curtain by design, which isn’t a bad thing, however, the entire cooler gets splashed, so be prepared. Beautiful fire pit area, we couldn’t use due to the weather. Definitely will stay again.

Toilet 👎🏻 Also need to add a place to hang some clothes. Consider a corner iron pipe (keeping with the theme) in each bedroom.

Exremely quete secluded location, at the same time close to our destinations - kayaking on rivers, Finger lakes, restaurants, supermarkets, Wtkins Glen hike, etc. Well equipped kitchen/bathroom, has AC, has outside fire pit. Office on top floor with desks, TV and extra couch.

There was an electric toilet with bidet, it opens with motion center - sometimes not when you need :)
