About this apartment rental
This 4-unit building has been tastefully renovated into comfortable spaces that are ON the Seneca Lake wine trail. The generous living room with plenty of cozy seating is flanked by the Kithcen/dining area. A short hall separates the bedrooms from the common areas. The full bathroom is sandwiches in between the two bedrooms and contains a custom-tiled shower and large vanity. There is also a private half-bath en-suite contained within the rear Queen bedroom for extra privacy between guests. The newer HVAC system makes heating or air conditioning quick and easy. The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and opens up directly on to a stamped concrete patio with propane grill and outdoor dining set. A few steps further is the tiered back yard. Each unit has their own firepit and adirondack chairs to take in the evenings and starry nights. These units offer a large parking lot and easy loading and unloading of luggage. State route 414 is the main road that travels the east side of Seneca Lake and contains numerous local breweries, wineries and restaurants. Watkins Glen is less than 5 miles and Watkins Glen International racetrack is within 15 minutes. Watkins Glen State Park, Seneca Lake and the Finger Lakes National Forest are all within minutes. The apartment is lovely & was perfect for us. We enjoyed being able to cook in the well stocked kitchen after being on the road for 5 days. I especially loved the beautiful shower & having a second (partial) bathroom was handy. All appliances seemed to be newer & worked great. There are many wineries close by. We only visited a couple since we are not big wine drinkers. I especially enjoyed a horseback ride at Painted Bar Stables.
