Oom The communication from months ago was very poor. Almost all my emails didn't get a response. I tried ringing the property several times and no answer after 30 minutes. This was a terrible service. When we arrived at the property the door shut behind us and as only one key between 18 of us we were locked out. I knew I couldn't ring anyone as previous calls had never been answered. Luckily there was a window left open and my son in law being a rock climber was able to get in. My daughter got room 6 . The door handle came off in her hand and being heavily pregnant she could have been locked in! Was a concern. Hernand hubby had to keep a suitcase at the door so it wouldn't close! Room 4 was beautiful but the shower didn't drain the water Also although we had fantastic weather and we could sit outside if it had been wet weather no lounge to sit in The garden was beautiful as nice weather Still we had a fantastic time

Huge, clean, well stocked with good facilities, cutlery and crockery so cooking and eating in was great. Super well placed between Windermere and Bowness.

The house was decorated beautifully; The thermostats and radiators all worked, house was a perfect temperature; Beds so comfy; Kitchen very modern; WiFi free and worked fairly well for free WiFi; TVs in every room; 2x bathrooms had baths, one a gorgeous roll top; Bedroom sizes were incredible, so spacious; Huge fridge; Great location; Even better price; Parking was great; Highchairs and cots included.

Hosts were still cleaning when we arrived which delayed our plans slightly though it couldn't have been helped on this occasion it was a bit confusing; Some bathrooms were quite small; House doesn't have a comfy living room, there is plenty of seats but a comfy sofa would have been great; Highchairs and cots were included, we could have done with knowing this in advance; Shower heads were a little big for those who wanted to keep hair dry (I'm being very picky with that though!).
