Perfect location. Comfortable room.

Perfect location for Cadburys World ( 5 mins walk) also to catch train into Birmingham. Although on a main road nice and quiet. Very friendly lady who showed us how to get in. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space in room.

The room needs a bit of a spruce up.... Walls need painting. The bathroom really needs a spring clean. Dirty tiles at the bottom of shower. Toilet needs. Bleach clean. More tea/coffee needed if staying more than one night

The location and facilities were great but the bed was a letdown.

The location is fantastic. Very close to the trail station. The apartment itself is well laid out and very spacious. It has a microwave and a refrigerator so heating up and keeping food cool is not a problem.

The mattress was worn out. When you sat on the mattress ,it sank to the base. The bed lining had stain marks on them. It looked like they had not been changed for some time.

An Overnight Stay after Cadbury World Visit

The host was brilliant, very prompt replies and attentive. I had requested to do something special for my little girl's birthday stay, after Cadbury world visit, they had the balloons and banner in the room which totally made her day. Clear communication for the Check in and everything else. Brilliant location, literally 4 mins from Cadbury world. Loads of places to eat around too. Rooms have a mini fridge and a microwave which was brilliant to heat up any food for the kids. Has all the amenities like a kettle, tea/ coffee and bowls and plates for the microwave. Parking can be tricky, you may or may not find a space depending on the time and day of the week.

The property entrance is a big put off, seems very shady. The smell on the stairs and landing is way too strong and smells of mildew and mould. The bathrooms are quite smelly too. Bathroom cleanliness not up to the standard. The King bed room bathroom just wasn't good at all whereas comparatively the Deluxe Double was far better with really good modern shower. The king Bed room has a patchy wall. Just probably needs a good update for the smell etc.

Basic and cheap accomadation.

Very basic accommodation. Facilities that was useful was the fridge. Location good as near to the station.

Microwave was filthy inside and was obviously not cleaned. Plates, mugs are provided but tiny bowls are provided..not really suitable for cereal as too small. Heating is problematic - is centrally controlled in the passage so somebody else changed it to very hot setting and we were baking in the room. Communication is poor - I sent a query to find out if an iron was available as well as toilet paper and towels. No response received to date.

I needed a room for a couple of nights, it met those needs.

It was handy for public transport.

The provision were odd. Two plates, two bowls, no cutlery. Two mugs, no glasses. Tea bags, sugar, no coffee, no milk.

Fairly good location but absolutely no cleaning is done

The location was fine

The cleanliness of the room, bed and bathroom It was clear it hadn’t been hoovered before I checked in. There was hair everywhere on the carpet and a previous guests hair clip on the floor too The bathroom floor and shower had not been cleaned at all, hair all over the floor and the toilet wasn’t cleaned. I took two bottles of bleach spray from the landing to clean as much as I could You’re also provided bowls, plates and spoons, But when I was about to use them, I saw food stains from a previous guest still remaining. The coffee cups were also really stained- not sure if it was stained or just not cleaned so didn’t touch them I’m not even sure if the bedding was changed before I checked it as it didn’t look or smell washed at all, almost like someone had slept before in it

It was very unclean, the bathroom had stains. there was some weird stains on the headboard and all over the wall that looked a lot like semen.

The room was clean and close to a train station, but it was not exactly deluxe. It had a microwave and fridge but was otherwise very basic. The description could have included an external photo showing that the room was above a convenience store (this was not a problem, but it is worth knowing).

Host communications were very good. The place was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, I left my own pillow behind and took the hosts pillow by mistake. He was very understanding and got my pillow back to me.

Cosy room with en suite and great value for money. Parking was easy to find within 50 yards of property.

Was above and behind a small row of shops but not noisy in the morning and the area felt safe and friendly.

Good location for my visit to friends. Clean, secure and with good facilities: large en-suite, fridge, kettle and crockery.

Buzzing from an adjacent room’s lock the first night but this was rectified by the owner when I mentioned it.

For the price charged, it was fine for 1 night

The bedroom was comfortable and it was very nice to have fresh milk provided in the fridge.Once we understood the door entry arrangement it felt very secure.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was a little lacking. The toilet and shower could have been a little cleaner and the towels were quite small.

Not close to luxury - not even clean

Good location, close to Bournville station. Fairly quiet. Easy to check in and out.

This is not even close to a luxury room - all very basic and cheap, without even a comfortable chair. The room was unacceptably unclean and unhygienic - it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned between stays. The floor and windowsills were dirty, the toilet and sink were stained and the shower was disgusting. Shower mat hadn’t been washed. The fridge was full of water. There was also a stain on the bedding which did not fill me with confidence. The whole place needs a good deep clean and was unpleasant. The room has no air con or even a fan and was uncomfortably hot overnight. Unfortunately the neighbour also decided to start building work at 7am every morning (not the host’s fault, but the room window overlooks their garden). Unfortunately I couldn’t book anywhere else remotely affordable to stay as it was so last minute and so stayed for 2 nights. Would not recommend staying unless you don’t mind an overpriced grimy room.

narrow and steep stairs difficult to navigate with a suitcase. parking hard to find in nearby streets. On a main road and next door to a petrol station so plenty of city noise.

Overall a fair stay. The bedroom was comfortable but the bathroom cleanliness really let it down.

Communication was helpful. When I needed to speak to the host, the phone was answered straightaway The bedroom was clean. I could see hoover marks on carpet where it had been vacuumed.

It was clear the bathroom was not cleaned for a long time. Hairs left on the floor, urine and stains around the toilet. The toilet bowl had not been cleaned as I had to bleach it using bleach under the sink cupboard The shower had not been cleaned-pubic hairs and dirt marks were left in the shower tray. I had already got in the shower and ran the water so it was too late to get out and take a picture. I also had to go downstairs to their shop and ask for bathroom cleaner myself so I could spray the toilet and shower Finally just a side note, there was no bath mat, so when stepping out of the shower the floor was wet and extremely slippery. it would be good to have one available for health and safety as I had to use the spare towel folded on the floor to step on.

Parked nearby, slept well.

The bed was comfortable & we slept well. Access had good lighting & clear instructions. Free parking nearby & station/catering places just a few mins away. Having milk in the fridge was great, thanks.

Overall it was enough good for the night

I like that it was walkable distance to the cars hey world there is a little shop underneath it that can be really useful, I found a parking space not too far but no safe parking in front of the room . I did ask an early check in that I has to call to ask the details to access the room and the owner didn’t seem aware of it and was not the most friendly phone call.
