Great stay in Birmingham

Really value for money accommodation. Super clean and the fridge in the room added extra points! Will definitely visit again when in Birmingham.

Just a small note, the private bathroom is external, not ensuite. The pictures are a bit misleading. But still, everything was great.

Okay for it's price compared to others

It was a clean room, good for a short stay. It has all the amenities one might need for a night or so, and the owner was polite and flexible to all enquiries. I would recommend it to people who are not very fancy and just want a cheap night's stay without much trouble.

A bit loud at night due to other tenants watching TV on high volume.It was clean, but the mattress was uncomfortable and tilted to one side. Also, it was a bit cold late at night, and the heating wouldn't respond to any adjustment. The neighbourhood is shabby and there is only one Indian restaurant nearby, which was fortunately very very good.

Such a beautiful and modern property, exceptionally clean and comfortable space. Safe and convinient area of Birmingham with lots of local shops and food take away. Customer service from property owner was also helpful.

Basic accommodation, but clean and good facilities. Bed uncomfortable.

Good room facilities. A fridge was a nice touch, as well as tea making facilities. A fully equipped shared kitchen was available. The property was clean and tidy. The property was a converted residential house with no reception, but communications with the owner and access to the property were very straightforward. Shops for groceries and basic take away food were within 1mins walk.

The bed was the low point, it was quite uncomfortable, I could feel the springs. It was hot weather and a fan would have been a nice addition. The en-suite bathroom had an automatic light, which took 10mins to go out, therefore, it kept me awake, if I went to the toilet during the night. The bedroom blinds were not very efficient at blocking light, so I was waking very early (it was summer). All these issues could be improved at very low cost. I didn't like the location of the property, which was in the middle of a large housing estate.

Comfy room at an excellent value

Very recently refurbished house with 5 rooms. Everything was clean and welcoming, and my room (5, at the top) was very bright and spacious. Really pleasant stay overall.

Various small issues (no hand soap, towels leaving lint all over...) which should be easy to address. A general feeling that the refurbishment was done on the cheap, especially the paintwork. Nothing shocking at that price though. The soundproofing is however extremely poor (I could distinctly hear conversations in the room below with my windows closed).

Easy, convenient stay

Lovely room, clean, and had all the essentials. Easy to find and very flexible check in. Would stay here again.

The bed was very soft and tucked under the sloping roof, so it was a little difficult to get to one side. No fan was provided, which was slightly inconvenient as it was a very hot night and the flat was on the top floor.
