Comfy, cosy and perfect.

Our previous booking for the day had cancelled at the last minute and we had to find something quickly within couple of hours and that’s how we ended up here. Boy , what a beautiful place to stay. Clearly sign posted and was given the right instructions on how to reach the property as it is just off the main road. The views were breath taking. The owner had realised about our urgency and was kind enough to keep some eggs, cereal and the best part oat milk as I was lactose free. He even came out in the cold night to check on us asking if we had enough food with us for the night as we arrived quite late at the property. The biscuits , herbal teas and marshmallows were a treat. We really enjoyed our stay here . Early morning we were greeted by the lovely chickens. The ladies gave us company as we had breakfast while enjoying the view. As we were leaving he even came to help us with our things and the gates. Couldn’t have asked for more. This was the best stay in our NC500 week.

Magical place

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The location could not have been better — surrounded by stunning scenery with a view to die for. The host was super nice and welcoming, and the pod had literally everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything there was high quality, from the dish soap to the eggs left for breakfast. It was such a magical experience, and we only wish we had booked it for more than one night. Can’t recommend it enough!

There are few things just worth checking out - temperature in fridge was quite low, our cucumber got frozen and we couldn’t figure out how to close the door from the inside.

Peace and Quiet

Quality pod in all respects, Jordan was there to greet me and made sure I was very comfortable and had all I needed during my stay and gave me information and tips regarding the local area. Although not a B&B there was cereal, oat milk, biscuits, wine and lovely eggs from the free range chickens. The views are lovely and the chiminea on the patio makes sitting out in the evening a must (with a glass of wine) to just enjoy the fading view and the peace and quiet. Great for recharging the batteries and switching off. I went on several enjoyable walks and the views from the 2 cairns are lovely (suitable footwear necessary). It's also worth noting the pod is lovely and warm. Bacall Bay Retreat is a bit special and exceeded my expectations.

Great accommodation in a breath-taking location

A wonderfully equipped and comfortable pod which came with a whole host of goodies supplied by the host Jordan. The views from the pod are just stunning and wildlife abounds. The location is just total peace and solitude. Jordan was a wonderful host and could not do enough for us. We would love to return one day!

Special night's stay

The owner met us on arrival to explain everything and was there to say goodbye the next morning. He was friendly and informative. The view was amazing. Well equipped pod. There was wine, milk, bottled water, biscuits, eggs, etc. supplied by the owners. Smidge was also supplied, which we did need. Would recommend.

Beautiful views with a super responsive and caring host.

The views from the porch and the pod are amazing. Beautiful over looking the loch. Didn’t really want to leave in the mornings to go out and explore since the scenery was already so nice. Jordan is super responsive and very helpful with anything.

Astonish view in luxury glamping pod

This place is amazing! The location and the view are astonishing, it was a dream. Jordan the host welcomed us and was available for any needs we had. The pod is very well equipped, nothing was missing and every detail was taken care of. Really great!

Sensational views in the far north-west of Scotland

Location, location, location - sensational views, we just wish the weather had been better the night we arrived so we could have sat out with the chiminey burning/ hired kayaks! Only two pods, so not crowded. The owner came out to meet us when we arrived (so much nicer than a key box!) and the pod was provisioned with (real) coffee, tea, wine (!), oat milk and snacky chocolate .... Scottish Fine Soaps everywhere ...

We should have stayed a second night! Not a dislike, but worth noting the pod is a compact size, so no oven in kitchen (has hob and microwave). Suitable for 2 adults, or two adults + 2 children, but I would hesitate to recommend for 4 adults ... it would definitely be 'cosy'!

This is the perfect getaway location

This place is phenomenal, Jordan and Kate have thought of everything in their cabins everything is clean and well maintained. This is exactly as described if not better, the views are so beautiful the photos couldn’t do them justice. Both me and my wife loved our stay here and wish we could of stayed for longer

Their welcome basket and other thoughtful touches were greatly appreciated. Bad Call Bay and especially Bad Call Bay Retreat are a must for any visit to the Highlands. Don't just stay one night!

Breathtaking serenity

Breathtaking location. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity, this is the place for you. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special, as we were celebrating my wife's 40th birthday. Everything we needed was provided, and the place was spotlessly clean. My wife had a treatment to help her relax even further, which she said was bliss.

A beautiful hidden gem, Jordan, Kate and family are just wonderful and make you feel right at home!

The most stunning views of any pod I've seen - we booked last minute after planning to stay in Scourie down the road but we are so pleased we switched plans! There has clearly been a lot of thought and care put into making each person's stay extra special, including the generous touch of wine in the fridge. We only stayed one night but we wished it could have been longer. It's rare to find somewhere which ticks all the boxes so we will 100% be back!

Great experience in a superb location

Excellent glamping pods in a totally superb elevated location overlooking ancient islands and mountains. Extremely comfortable bed - had the best sleep here of my entire holiday - and nice touches such as milk, wine and snacks. Great place and I’d definitely stay here again.

One small improvement would be to have higher and more comfortable chairs in the patio area to be able to see over the fence to enjoy the view (or a glass balustrade instead of the wooden fence). Chairs not very comfy and not at a great height. Otherwise, a superb experience and I’d definitely return and recommend.

Glamping in un paradiso scozzese

Tutto! il posto è bellissimo, inserito in un panorama paradisiaco da perdere il fiato. Jordan ci ha accolti in una capsule comodissima dotata di tutti i confort e di più. Molto apprezzato il welcome pack (con vino, uova delle loro galline, dolcetti...) e la stufa fuori d'avanti alla nostra capsule (con grill che purtroppo non abbiamo potuto sfruttare). Torneremo di sicuro, magari per qualche giorno in più. Grazie mille

Le Pod est hyper confortable et idéalement situé face à la baie, un régal pour les yeux... Le pod est très fonctionnel et les attentions prévues par nos hôtes nous ont charmé: le vin d'accueil, le petit déjeuner... Nous étions arrivés tard, il nous avait fallu plus de temps que prévu pour traverser, et notre hôte a gentiment tenu à nous rencontrer la matin... Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement et avons hâte de voir se mettre en place les retraites.

Der Pod ist super ausgestattet und hat alles, was man braucht, inkl. Dusche, WC, kleinem Doppelbett, Sitzecke, Couch, TV mit Netflix und Co, Parkplatz 1m entfernt. Ev. Trinkwasser mitbringen, Leitungswasser kommt aus einem Loch (See) und sollte abgekocht, kann aber konsumiert werden. Supernetter und hilfreicher Kontakt. Kleiner Supermarkt und Lokal in naher Fahrentfernung. Im höchsten Maße empfehlenswert.

Heerlijk verblijf met droomuitzicht over de baai

Locatie is adembenemend mooi, pod is erg sfeervol ingericht en heeft een luxe uitstraling. Heerlijk ‘s avonds op het terras gezeten bij een knapperend haardvuur. Genieten!

Wir waren begeistert.

Wir haben hier leider nur eine Nacht verbracht. Die Ausstattung ist durchdacht und es fehlte an nichts. Selbst der Kamin war schon zum Anzünden vorbereitet. Und so konnten wir trotz kühler Temperaturen den Abend auf der kleinen Terrasse in spektakulärer Landschaft genießen. In der Hütte war es dann herrlich warm und wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Außer Vögeln, Schafen und Fledermäusen in der Dämmerung war absolute Stille.
