I you never stayed in a five stars pod like this - you definitely miss a wonderful opportunity to explore something very

exceptional - this is not only a pod for overnight. We never saw a better place to stay in, it was perfectly prepared, cosy warm and safe for the night in a scottish storm, everything in perfekt shape, the interior, the decoration, the kitchen and even the technical equipment for a convenient stay in the Tichlochan Pods Thank you very much, we hope we have found this earlier to make a longer stay in the region of scourge

we had a storm overnight and therefore we couldn’t use the outside for the breakfast

the pod looked vert new and was in excellent decorative order and was in a wonderful location with fantastic views, it had everything you would need for self catering and the welcome basket was a lovely touch including fresh chicken eggs from the hosts own chickens

Glamptastic NC500 accommodation!

The pods are in a beautiful setting, really well equipped, clean and stylish. Wayne met us and showed us to the pod, a very friendly welcome. We had requested the electric Ninja BBQ ahead of our stay and Wayne set it up for us. Despite some rain and the midges we managed to cook on the patio, it was a lovely evening. We even had a herd of deer pass through the field below. The bed was very comfy and every detail was thought of, we loved the board games, the bluetooth speaker and the multicoloured lighting strip in the pod. Eggs from the garden hens too for breakfast. A different type of accommodation to most on our NC500 trip, and although it was quite expensive compared to other places it was terrific!

A great NC500 recharge stop!

A fantastic location for a pit stop on the nc500, the guys were incredibly accommodating and the pod was perfect with everything we needed to have a good night's sleep and a very welcomed, hot shower! Only a fool would not visit the crofters kitchen for some fresh seafood while they were here, you've been warned!!

Very comfortable, compact accommodation. Wayne met us when we arrived and showed us to the ‘pod’ and carried our cool box. Definitely the most comfortable bed we have had in 3 weeks away, and while having breakfast watched the deer in the fields. Wonderful place!

Fantastic facilities and well decorated- loved the highland cow them- very cosy and kept the heat in well! Really liked the sofa area too! Great little breakfast box too!

Adding a little covering or extending the porch space somehow so it’s possible to sit out when raining would be amazing but certainly not a dealbreaker

Our pod was so sweet, and we had everything we needed. A very good welcome pack with everything we needed for breakfast including eggs from the families own chickens. It was very clean and well equipped. The bonus was the deer in the field in front of the pods.

We had a great stay with very helpful host in a lovely pod surrounded by great scenery.

The pod was set in a lovely location and we were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful host. The pod was in new condition and was beautifully situated and fitted out. There was a lovely welcome basket which was much appreciated. We loved all the little touches that made the pod cosy and fun. The bathroom was excellent and the kitchen was great too. The hosts had obviously worked hard to make their pods excel in every way.

Even taking in all of the above we thought the pods might just be a little on the pricey side but we really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Dirty duvet.

We used the spare bed and spare bedding which hadn’t been washed from the previous guests, the duvet and pillows had dirt marks and hairs. Very disappointing as this was our most expensive stay on the Nc500 route. The WiFi was also very poor.

A 1 night stop on the NC500 route. We (4 of us) arrived at the property and Wayne the owner, came out to meet us. He showed us to our pods, we were delighted at the standard that they had been finished to. All the furniture and fittings were of a very high standard. Wayne recommended where to go for a drink ( The Bar in the Spar). Plus where to pick up some food (Crofters Kitchen) which we brought back to our pod to eat. It was a wet, cool evening but the pod was cosy and warm. Breakfast was provided in the form of cereals and croissants, plus other nibbles in a welcome pack inside the pod. The location of the pods are within walking distance of village, and the jetty.

Fabulous!

We loved how clean and comfortable our stay was. Even though it wasn’t very long we were there we felt very relaxed and at home.

How quick we had to leave again to get the boat! we would have loved to have stayed and enjoyed the eggs for breakfast but had to be away super early ☹️

Great pods in Scourie for a stop on the NC500

Brilliant pods in a great location on the NC500. Very well equipped for a stay with lovely little touches like fresh eggs, coloured lighting, a sound bar, air fryer. Cosy, comfy and peaceful with lovely views. Really lovely welcome from Wayne. Chickens on site, deer in the fields and birds flying over. Highly recommend this as something different to stop

Amazing stay

We loved the attention to detail in the pod, everything was covered, from towels, to a welcome basket with breakfast, fresh milk & eggs (owners went above and beyond) It was homely, warm, and immaculate. The views were amazing and it was very peaceful. We could have stayed there all week!
