Seaside Oasis In Northland

the property it self is beautiful, bright and the view is amasing , the walkway to the beach is nice and short and the beach is beautiful , wouldnt say safe to swim in as theres heaps of rips but for us it was perfect view and a swing down there too, the rooms were perfect for us and our family , and the smart tv was a plus & also the wifi! they have all the utensil you need including snacks and laundry & bathroom products too. the reception is actually good considering but does tend to be a bit slower in the 2 main bedrooms. we could hear kiwis at night & the neighbours and road is peaceful during the day, overall we loved it for our 3 night & 4 day stay. we were here for a rugby tournament and mainly used the house in the afternoons and left in the morning , heat pump was also a plus for the cold nights, no insects annoyed us. overall we loved it for our big family and found it convenient for the tournament , would defs book again.

just the distance from town but that wasnt a biggie , thwre wasnt anything that was truely bad except reception in some places & possibly the stove was working sometimes and not others.

Spacious. Clean, bright, lots of fresh air

The kitchen supplies were sparse. A coffee plunger, and a fuller pantry with oil, vinegar, soy sauce and other staples would be valued by me.. It was also 20 minutes from town. Good news: nice and quiet. Bad news: a longer drive to grocery store and restaurants.

Great place, great view. Such a calm and beautiful area. Go for it. The owner is helpful and available. Sure we'll come back

Kia ora. Thank you so much for making us feel at home and comfortable. You have catered for everything we needed while we stayed over the 3 nights and 4 days, we totally enjoyed the weekend in the house. The view of the lake was just magnificent. Again, thank you. Would I book it again? YES

What I didn't like were the mosquitos. I suggest a bug bomb to be let off in the house before people enter the house.
