Cosy and comfortable accommodation. Easy access to lovely walks. Very handy for local shop which sold everything! Lovely cafe in the village.
The cottage was next to a pub which was not mentioned in the details. If it had mentioned the pub I would not have booked it. Fortunately for me the pub was undergoing refurbishment following a fire.
The details did not mention that the garden was a shared space and that the other cottages had right of way directly over your patio.

Location great and property very clean. Keys and entry to property easily accessed. Property definitely cosy and village great with plenty of places to eat and drink. Lovely decor and feel to the house though and a perfect place to base ourselves for the weekend.
Two bedside tables would be good, and perhaps a few more basics in the kitchen on arrival. Many other places we have visited leave a pint of milk so you can have a cup of tea if you arrive late.

Nice & comfy cottage. Beds comfy, home comforts.
Always cleaned to a good standard.
Pretty village, local shop nearby.
Close to Bradgate Park, Calke Abbey & Staunton Harold.
Can be quite noisy later on at night with live music, people singing & shouting at restaurant next door.
We have stayed at cottage previously so we’re aware of this. As we stay up quite late it didn’t affect our sleep.
