In my arrival the give me access to someone else apartment oven was very dirty noise from other apartments and the road traffic

Untrue listing, smelly property, unresponsive host.

Property was not as described only having two beds and one sofa - whereas the listing described it as a four bed (two beds, two sofa beds) property. Host initially attempted to charge extra fees outside of Booking.com, then reduced the number of "beds" available when we refused to pay and pointed to the listing of it as a four bed property. Property had a musty smell and was generally unclean. Ended up having to arrange last minute alternative accommodation, host now non-responsive when trying to arrange a refund.

Location and parking

What feels like a potential scam to defraud or take advantage. The listing says that pets are welcome but a fee 'may' apply. Then on the confirmation it states along the lines of 'subject to agreeing' - note this is after the non refundable booking was made. I sought confirmation 3 times. Each time I received further confirmation of booking such as directions and car registration confirmation for ANPR car parking. Only once on route to the accommodation and a short distance away (I made contact to let them know I was running behind check in target time) was I then told that there would be £150 fee for pet. This is despite having had all those confirmations without fee mention previously and despite the room booking being £110. Yes that's right, they charged more THAN THE BOOKING COST! Currently being reclaimed by credit card company given the weight of evidence I produced. I will not be booking with any 'Sav apartment' listing in the future and urge caution for any that consider doing so!

Check out time . After chk in i received messged my chk out time is at 10pm. But a day before chk out, i received messge infrming me to chk out at 10 am instead of 10pm.

Unacceptable stay

Appartement, location

- booked an appartment for 4 but get one for 3. We tried one night but that wasn’t possible so one of us had to find another accommodation for the next night - It’s clean but not deep clean (for example: walls around light switches are beige rather than white). - Bed mattress is old and in “V shape” - Parking is a mess: I had to ask for information to know how it works through WhatsApp, and to have the permit is through WhatsApp too. We were 2 cars but only one was free (not mentioned on Booking). When the person sleeping in the other accommodation came back for the check out, the friend that brought her back was fined 60£ because the car stayed in the Parking 14’ (rather than the 10’ autorised). - So it was our 2nd stay in SAV but it will be our last!

The location is very convenient for rail station and town centre shops.

When there was a problem with the toilet it was not dealt with very promptly and the attitude of the staff made me feel I was causing a problem by expecting it to be sorted out quickly.

Location was close to the station and an easy walk into town. Lots of lovely pubs and restaurants

The flat said there was a sofa bed, there wasn’t! Not enough cutlery nor chairs around table for more than 3 people. Cooking pots and trays grubby. Large water stain on ceiling. Cleaning bucket and mop left in hall way. Wi-Fi instructions not available in flat you had to wade through endless instructions to find the passcode which had been sent via email. All instructions sent including parking permit lengthy and over complicated. Easy to miss details ! No plug in bathroom basin.

Not really what it promises to be - lacking attention to detail about what guests need most

Kitchen equipment. No chopping board but it's meant to be for self-catering guests! Only a very limited number of utencils, most of which were in poor condition - e.g. all knives were very blunt.

The bed in the bedroom was uneven with broken spring. It was very uncomfortable. And the fan in the room was broken too and filthy. The kitchen was crawling with tiny cockroaches.

Comfortable mattress, nice bathroom

No aircon, ventilation airflow poor, no TV facilities and WiFi was just about adequate. It was very humid and noisy location

Great potential for this apartment just needs better managing.

Off road parking with easy access and great pedestrian access to town centre.

Unnecessary booking requirements although not followed through geared to long term stays (250 GBP cash deposit, proof of ID and utility bills etc). Although sold and charged as 4 pax linen and towels only provided for 2 pax plus 2 mugs etc. Internet stopped working for the last day and no bin in bathroom, no lamp shades etc. Kitchen not thoroughly cleaned, such as the fridge before we checked in.
