Abbey Terrace - Free Parking

Great location and generally clean. Large rooms and good shower heat and pressure.

Basement bedroom smelt damp and fusty, main bedroom was 2 single beds pushed together would have preferred a double bed. Sofa in lounge too low and covers kept falling off and ruffling. All furniture basic and cheap needs a better sofa. Didn’t like the glass coffee table.

The location was amazing. We stepped out of the building and could see the abbey across the harbour. Just a short walk to bus, train and town centre. Parking was great. Free and right outside the building. Free internet via to hub worked great. Shower worked well, although my husband found it a right squeeze. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and snacks. We had already brought wine glasses after seeing reviews

The mattress was rock hard. The cleaning was not great in places (blinds were very dusty) and the decor was a little tired.

Location, parking

The WIFI doesn't work, it doesn't work in all of the Discovery accommodation places I have stayed in. Just FIX it, stop trying to use the hopeless TV Wifi and get proper routers. The kitchen in this place was sticky and dirty. It needs a DEEP CLEAN not a wipe over with a wet rag... not enough pans etc The ONE saucepan wasn't clean....
