Whitby is a bustling fishing town that is home to many amazing events throughout the year, including the bi-annual Goth Weekender, Folk Week and the Whitby Regatta, to name just three of the all year round events. Alongside this, Whitby attracts visitors from all over who love to sample the many bars, restaurants, cafés and tea rooms, as well as museums and galleries.
This is also the perfect place to make as your base for exploring the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Heritage Coast. Travel by steam train into the heart of ‘Heartbeat’ country or take a fishing trip out to sea on one of the many boat trips that leave the harbour with the hope of seeing whales, seals or dolphins. The Cleveland Way snakes along the coast and is a must for those who enjoy the great outdoors. Enjoyed spending time at white whale. Owners thought of everything equipment, dogs items etc. very cosy.

Our second stay at the White Whale ground floor flat. This one bedroom accommodation has everything you need, is in a central location both for the sea, shops and the older part of Whitby. Enjoyed our stay for the week.

Flat very handy for local amenities, comfortable, well equipped, ( pity that the air fryer wasn't there though) bed very comfortable , doggy toy box a nice touch. We always have a lovely time at White Whale Thank you 👠😊
