Host & Stay - Silver Street Apartments

Good location great views out top of the apartment. Overall clean, good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Contact regarding check in was good.

Beds were uncomfortable mattress not great quality neither were pillows. Although apartment generally clean, dirty windows and windowsills throughout dusty blinds and visible dirt on skirting in bedrooms. Would not take much to bring up to better standard with decent Hoover and wipe over. Parking situation not great there is a small car park on silver st but could just about get car down to the location and difficulty getting out of car park because of cars just parking randomly. Caused chaos as people were trying to leave and car park exits being blocked. Because location is on a hill luggage would have to be carried from other main car park locations which may cause issues for people.

Great location for Whitby, thought it seemed very secure, beds very comfortable

The steps down into the kitchen were a bit of a hazard. One of the steps was very steep, and you had to watch where you were stepping because part of the step had been cut away to make room for the cupboard door to open.

It’s very comfortable, clean, close to the city, amazing views from the master bedroom. Lovely bathroom and shower. All really good.

If your are a late bird and like to sleep, well there is no blackout on the window and you will get the sunlight straight in your face. Dracula will not be happy !!! We are just fine because we are early birds, so it was ok.

The location was very good and it was close to the middle and some great little pubs nearby. The beds were very comfortable too.

The lounge area had no windows in and the kitchen window looked onto a brick wall. The picture that was advised wasn’t the accommodation that we got so we were a little disappointed. Plus when we arrived and the booking was made for 4 people we did expect tea and coffee facilities for 4 but they only left 2 coffee, 2 sugar and a couple of milks. That could have been better.
