A trip to Bristol, to see the sites and scenery, as well as keeping active.

The beds were nice and comfortable. The staff were friendly. There was enough place to store my gear and do my morning streches. The towels provided were good quality. There was enough space to store food and make breakfast, lunch etc. It was not too busy, or crowded. Not a lot of distractions outside, or around rooms etc. The building is in a very convenient location, nearby to a lot of toursit attractions and shops etc. There are places nearby for bag storage. There are good places nearby for running and exercise.

The rooms have floorboards that creek a lot and can be heard by the people next door! Not the best privacy, if making phone calls or playing music etc. The facilities in the kitchen and lounge were not fully equipped, as there were no forks, heating, or tea towels, tissues etc. The general cleaning was OK, but could of been better. I spoke to one of the cleaners and they said they were not told properly, what to do? There was no place for bag storage, even though there is space in the building for lockers etc.

Acceptable for a short stay but bring the yoga mat to stretch cause the bed will kill your back!

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and cranked a lot. The room smelled a lot like mould in the air but it had access to a little patio which made it acceptable. No towels provided until requested. Thr toilet with the good shower was under renovations which we were not informed about

Great location but it was really back to basics for us.

Location is excellent! Near shops, grocery stores, eating places. We walked to the city, university buildings, shopping district and even to the Temple Meads train station. Hot water was available all the time and the shower water pressure was great. Heating was also adequate in the bedroom and coming from a tropical climate, it was really comforting for us.

Cleanliness of the kitchen could be improved. No kitchen paper towels or cleaning towels were available to wipe the dining table after using it. Bathroom was not cleaned during our 8-night stay. The last deep clean was on 2/9 and the bathroom and toilet was last tidied on 15/9. We checked in on 16/9 and checked out on 24/9. However, upon my request, the toilet paper was replenished on 21/9.

Leider enttäuschender Aufenthalt – schmutziges Bad und Bauarbeiten

Die Lage

Leider war mein Aufenthalt enttäuschend. Die Heizung funktionierte nur zu bestimmten Zeiten – das wurde vorher nicht erwähnt. Das Bett war sehr unbequem, und zudem gab es Bauarbeiten im Hotel, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich störte. Das Badezimmer war in einem sehr unhygienischen Zustand, was für mich absolut nicht akzeptabel ist. Ich musste deshalb sogar ein anderes Hotel buchen. Besonders schade finde ich, dass die Google-Kommentare deaktiviert wurden – das wirkt leider so, als wolle man ehrliches Feedback vermeiden.
