Great customer service. The hotel location was perfect to visit the city. Staff were extremely helpful.

The paint was coming off the wall in the bathroom. We escalated it to the hotel management and there was nothing they could do to fix it.

Brilliant location, walking distance to majority of the main attractions, lovely room with a very comfortable bed and pillows, room was clean and fresh. We had a small problem with our shower but a quick message via what’s app and it was sorted

The location was fantastic and exactly as advertised, right in the heart of Rome and within walking distance of the city’s major attractions, restaurants, and shops. It made exploring the city incredibly easy. The cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did a wonderful job cleaning the apartment daily and restocking amenities, and the property was consistently well maintained. The air conditioning was also extremely effective, which was greatly appreciated given the summer heat during our visit.

The main issue was the shower drainage. After even a short shower, water would begin pooling and draining very slowly, often leaving us standing in several centimetres of water. We reported this early in our stay and were advised that the drain would be cleaned, however the issue remained and arguably became worse afterwards. We could clearly see hair and debris around the drain area, and the suggested solution was simply to use the lower-pressure shower attachment, which we were already using. Unfortunately, this was not an effective resolution. Around the second-last day of our stay, we also noticed an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom that resembled a sewage smell. We cannot say for certain whether it was related to the drainage issue, but it was noticeable and detracted from the otherwise comfortable apartment. The lift was also extremely small. While we appreciate that the building is historic and that modifications may not be possible, it was uncomfortable to use and could barely accommodate two people at a time, so we often chose to use the stairs instead. A few smaller points: there was no iron available in the apartment, only a shared steamer for multiple units, and it did not function particularly well. Communication was efficient via WhatsApp, however interactions felt somewhat impersonal as we never knew who we were speaking with and there was little personal engagement from the hosting team. Finally, it would have been helpful to have greater visibility of the €6 per person, per night city tax during the booking process, as this represented a noticeable additional cost for a longer stay.
