Comfy and Relaxing space in Dudley with Parking

The bed was very comfortable. It was a basic room that suited me for one night, but I wouldn't have liked to stay there for longer.

It didn't feel very homely; no special touches, just lots of white. There were stains on the carpet and chair (pictured). I would have liked bedside tables, so I could put my phone alarm nearby or a glass of water, instead of just on the floor. There was also no lamps, just the big main light, so it didn't feel particularly cosy in the room. The bathroom mirror and wardrobe rails where really high up. I had to get on my tip toes to hang up my coat and to see in the mirror to take my contact lenses out and I'm 5 '3 so I'm on the smaller side but not super small! I also found the process a bit confusing on arrival / departure. There was nowhere to check in / check out. You get sent a code to get in the main door and one for your room but I felt like I was missing something. I searched around the building (as there is no staff) and couldn't find anywhere to self check in or check out. I had an email the morning of my check out that said "please return the keys to the lockbox you collected them from" but I never received any keys, so not sure what they were referring to. It all felt a bit strange.
