Our Aurora vacation rental in Villa Rosa is picturesquely located on Wilhelmstraße in the Baltic Sea resort town of Sellin, just about 250 meters from the main beach and its pier. Enjoy the lively atmosphere along this promenade and let yourself be enchanted by the beautiful seaside-style villas that line this street. Sellin is an excellent starting point from which to explore the island by bike, on foot, or by car. The Sellin pier is simply stunning! Somewhat hidden behind the steep cliff, it was built based on a historical model—this magnificent structure isn’t a museum, but rather invites you to stroll, relax, or take a boat tour. You can also reach the underwater gondola via the Sellin pier. The “Tauchstation” exhibit presents the Baltic Sea as a habitat. On days with good visibility, animals and plants glide past the gondola’s windows. Seaside resort architecture, beach life, and wellness vacations find the perfect complement for nature lovers at Sellin Harbor. For those who prefer “rolling ground” beneath their feet, a trip on the “Rasender Roland” narrow-gauge railroad is highly recommended: you’ll experience plenty of nature as well as a bit of cultural history. If you’d like to escape the hustle and bustle for a while, visit the Friedensberg across from the spa administration office. It’s considered an ancient place of power. By bike, you can explore the entire Mönchgut region on well-maintained bike paths, taking in the kilometer-long, fine-sand beach, climbing the hills of the Zicker Alps, and taking a break in one of the idyllic villages along the country road. Other highlights include excursions to the chalk cliffs of Jasmund, Cape Arkona, or the island of Hiddensee.

Our cozy vacation apartment 07 “Aurora” in Villa Rosa is centrally located on Wilhelmstraße in Sellin. With approximately 54 m², our non-smoking apartment is ideal for 2 adults + 1 toddler up to 3 years old in a travel crib. The cozy living room, with its adjoining kitchenette and dining table, is decorated in subtle earth tones. Here you’ll find a couch, a coffee table, a sideboard, a DAB radio, Wi-Fi access, and a flat-screen TV with a Smart TV (65 inches), which invites you to relax in front of the TV after an eventful day. Or you can spend the evening in a cozy atmosphere with a book from our extensive library or playing an entertaining board game—we also have a selection of these available for you. From the living area or the bedroom, you can step out onto your furnished southwest-facing balcony—here you can comfortably wind down the day with a bottle of wine and make plans for your next excursions in and around Sellin. Of course, you won’t have to do without the usual comforts of a kitchenette here either: a microwave, a dishwasher, a stove with a ceramic cooktop, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment are available, as are a toaster, a coffee maker, and a kettle. It features a separate bedroom with a double bed (2.00 m x 2.00 m), adjustable slatted bed frames, an adjoining dressing area with a safe, and direct access to the en suite bathroom. When it comes to bathroom amenities, our “Aurora” vacation rental excels in functionality: the walk-in shower is extra-large, the wall-to-wall mirror is illuminated all around, and the vanity offers ample counter space to keep your bathroom essentials within easy reach at all times. A heated towel rack, along with a toilet and a hair dryer, provides additional comfort. You can conveniently store your luggage in the storage room. Here, you’ll also find an iron, an ironing board, a vacuum cleaner, and a clothes drying rack. Pets are not allowed. The modern floor heating can be easily adjusted in each room and ensures that you’ll feel comfortable here even outside the summer months. Our in-house wellness area (sauna available for a fee) in the basement, along with the steam room, also contributes to this. You can purchase tokens upon request during your stay. A small garden behind the house also invites you to relax. Parking space No. 07 (entry height 2.00 m) is located in the underground garage (double parking space: up to 1.80 m in height, 5.00 m in length, and 2 metric tons in weight) and is suitable for sedans and station wagons (up to 1.80 m in height and 1.90 m in width). From the underground garage, you have direct access to our lockable bicycle storage room, where you are welcome to store any bicycles you’ve brought with you or rented. You can book an initial laundry package (complete set of bed linens, 1 shower towel, 2 small hand towels) up to 14 days before arrival for an additional fee, or you can provide your own. If you book 2 or more sets, you’ll receive 1 dish towel and 1 shower mat as a one-time addition.
