Very modern, spacious villa.

What we did appreciate about the property was its location. It was conveniently situated within a fairly short drive of many villages and attractions throughout the Peak District, which made exploring the area very easy and enjoyable.
The property could have benefited from a much more thorough cleaning prior to our arrival. The kitchen, high chair, and dining table all had leftover food stains, which immediately made the space feel unhygienic. The kitchen was also not very well equipped, with only one cooking utensil provided.
The outdoor area was disappointing as well. The patio furniture had no cushions, there was random trash scattered throughout the backyard, and excess grass clippings made the area uncomfortable to use.
Additionally, none of the four remotes provided in the home worked with the master bedroom television. Since summer temperatures had arrived in England, the upstairs bedrooms became very warm at night, and unfortunately no fans were provided.
The booking and check-in process was also frustrating. After booking, we were required to complete additional forms through a separate website and provide personal information, including identification and card details for a £200 refundable deposit. There was also an unexpected £30 pet fee that was not clearly disclosed in the listing.
Another concern was the presence of a camera inside the home near the entrance, which felt uncomfortable during our stay.
