Peak retreat
Great location, lovely house
Nothing not to like, some areas could do with a little TLC ....& It would have been amazing if the hot tub was in working order The shower was a little bipolar - either scolding hot or freezing

Spacious property in lovely location, minor improvements needed
The house was very impressive from the outside and in a lovely village, but very close to Sheffield and the Dore / Totley train station which had a direct route into the city. Comfortable and sizeable lounge, dining area, and nice kitchen (though we didn't make too much use of the kitchen facilities.) Main bedrooms were sizeable and comfortable, and location was very quiet. Check-in was straightforward and spacious drive easily accommodated 3 cars for our visit. The system for setting hooking preferences, etc., was good and easy to use.
A few minor gripes but nothing critical. The single room is more of a cupboard - we ended up making use of the downstairs sofa bed in preference to that bedroom as it was really unsuitable for an adult. The bathroom door lock was broken and the bathroom decor / fixtures were a little more tired than the other rooms. A property of that size would also probably benefit from a second shower. No sink in the toilet (separate room to the bathroom) was a little bizarre too. Small problem but we had requested the two double rooms to be set up as one twin, one double, but both rooms were set up as twins. Not a major problem and we just lived with it, but it was the only booking instruction we had given so it was a negative mark that it had been ignored.

Lovely house and host!
Location was ideal and not difficult to find and near lots of different attractions. Nice and clean and big spaces. Huge back garden/outdoor space which would be ideal in warmer months.
