Charming House - Stunning views - Parking

This cotttage is indeed charming. It is cozy and beautifully-furnished, with a great location and lovely views. The location was perfect for expeditions to the various islands, and a grocery store was conveniently close by. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we appreciated the binoculars on the windowsill. The accommodation and linens were spotless, and the shower had plentiful hot water, which is always welcome in chilly weather. We were lucky to have lots of sunshine during our stay, but we also enjoyed watching the changes to the sky and water from our windows during the misty interludes. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others.

A bit more storage for unpacking suitcases would be welcome, and during our stay the wifi was so slow that it was essentially unusable - but we were able to use cellphone data to access the Internet so it was not a big problem.

Ein bezauberndes kleines, mit viel Liebe renoviertes frühzeitliches Häuschen, mit all dem nötigen Equipment und Komfort ausgestattet. Zentral auf den Faröern gelegen, um ein paar Tage alleine, zu zweit oder gar zu dritt dieses wundervolle Land und seine freundlichen Bewohner in allen Himmelsrichtungen gleichermaßen zu erkunden und kennenzulernen.

Sicherlich hätte es etwas preiswerter sein können. Man sollte jedoch berücksichtigen, dass die Lebenshaltungskosten auf den Färöern hoch sind, die Verdienste jedoch niedrig, was die Kaufkraft des Einkommens reduziert.
