Central Tórshavn Stay in the Charming Old Town

Un alloggio molto molto accogliente e con tutto il necessario. Lo spazio è stato sfruttato benissimo e inoltre c'era tutto, ma proprio tutto ciò che serve. Un alloggio molto funzionale. Abbiamo molto apprezzato: l'allestimento delle pareti attrezzate nella camera, davvero super con mensole, appendini e cassetti. Pensato benissimo. L'illuminazione in tutta la case è perfetta, con regolatori di intensità a piacere. La pulizia impeccabile. La cucina moto ben attrezzata e molto bella. La posizione centralissima, in quartiere storico e molto silenziosa.

Unico appunto è il bagno, in particolare il lavabo è decisamente piccolissimo, difficile da utilizzare. Anche la doccia potrebbe avere un vetro o almeno una tendina. Lo spazio del bagno lo permette. Però poi alla fine ci si abitua.

Very central and sweet. We were in FI for a conference and I saw our little cottage for the week show up in all my colleagues photos of the city because it’s so cute and the area is lovely. My colleagues were all envious. You couldn’t ask for a nicer spot. Clean, convenient, everything looked brand new, and it was an excellent place to relax after a long day of working, a real home away from home.

We had a car and sometimes we couldn’t find parking nearby. Not a serious issue, we never had to walk more than 10 minutes. We are North American and some instructions on how to turn the oven on would have saved us some googling 😂😂😭

Location & experience

Perfectly placed in town. Everything that you needed.

The location is great and the house was comfortable and clean. It is well stocked- toilet paper, paper towels, towels, utensils, etc. The windows could be opened for fresh air. There was ample room in the bedroom for luggage/storage. The bed in the upstairs doubles as a makeshift couch.

Anyone who is particularly tall (over 6 feet/182 cm) should note that the downstairs and shower/bathroom have a fairly low ceiling in addition to very low doorways. If even taller (over 6'5), the ceiling upstairs is also a problem. There are extensive instructions emailed to you about taking out trash and lots of associated fees for failure to do so and a clause in the agreement saying they can cancel at any point. Their automated emails offer a booking discount for activities but it doesn't actually work. If you try to message Vert, you get an automated message that sometimes says they've available Mon-Fri and sometimes says they're available Mon-Sun, sometimes it says they're available 'til 1700 and sometimes 'til 2000. The shower also backed up halfway through the stay without any way to clear the drain. The bathroom sink is exceptionally small (like difficult to fit your hands underneth the spout) and there's no place to hang a towel in the bathroom.
