Location within 15 minutes walking distance to centre
We booked this property for 4 guests based on the listing showing 5 beds. Upon arrival, we discovered only 2 beds were properly made up with duvets, pillows, and bed sheets. The remaining "beds" either had no bedding whatsoever or were a sofa in the lounge (not actual beds as advertised) and owner said two has to sleep on two old sofas without sheets, a tiny throw, and a lounge cushion.
They confirmed they had no additional duvets, pillows or bed sheets available. This meant only 2 of our party of 4 could sleep.
Critical Safety Issue: The stairs are extremely steep and steps very tiny and further making it impossible to walk down as staircase, resulting in sliding down the lose carpet which was not properly secured and lifted underfoot, creating a significant slip hazard. One member of our party actually fell down the stairs as a result. The housekeeper acknowledged this was unsafe when present.
Importantly, reading through previous reviews, we can see other guests have also commented on the dangerous staircase conditions as far back as April ( 8 months prior). This means the owner is aware of this ongoing safety hazard but has failed to address it. This hazard is not disclosed anywhere in the listing, nor are the stairs described as particularly steep, which they are.
By the time we discovered these issues, it was too late to find alternative accommodation, so we had to make do. The listing is materially misleading about both the sleeping arrangements and fails to disclose significant safety hazards that the owner clearly knows about.
I run similar properties myself and would never consider listing beds unless they are beds , as only 2 beds were able to be used out of the 5 listed, nor would I allow a known safety hazard to remain unaddressed.
Would not recommend if you are looking for more than 2 beds and young and fit enough to walk down the hazardous stairs without slidding .

Good value for money, really nice host, good communication and was extremely helpful and flexible to let me check in early. Also really comfy sofa in the living room!

The apartment was roomy and well equipped for the 3 of us
We only used it as a base for sleeping. Bathroom tap is constantly dripping and leaking from bottom when using.

Such a cool house , 2 split living rooms , garden even comes with a weights bench & seating and a table … fully furnished kitchen well stocked with utensils, towels and toilet roll and mini toiletries provided . Very easy self check in also I booked this apartment at 8pm for check in the same day and it was as simple as booking on the app !

The WiFi was not connecting to the televisions, however once I notified this to the number I had for concerns, a lovely gentleman came quite late in the evening and sorted it out for us. Very reliable and considerate

Wonderful Stay - Definitely coming back!
Had a fantastic stay at this two-bedroom house! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the city center, making it great for a night out, yet it was surprisingly calm and quiet when it was time to rest.
The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious, and the two living areas were incredibly comfortable, giving the place a lovely, homely feel.
The host was very responsive and friendly, making the stay even better. Highly recommend! I’m coming back again .
